Fun New Addition to the LeapFrog LeapPad
There is a great new feature from Leapfrog called Imagicard. This is a system that combines cards & the LeapPad's camera to create a game. You scan the cards with the LeapPad camera and the game comes to life! Six cards are included in the system when you purchase the LeapPad Platinum, but you can buy more as well. My kids are huge fans of Paw Patrol so they were excited to see their favorite characters come to live in the game, Save Adventure Bay with the Paw Patrol! The cards in this pack focus on mathematical skills & problem solving skills. It's been a great way to practice counting, identifying numbers & shapes, and even some simple addition or subtraction practice for my older child. My preschooler easily caught on to the concept of taking pictures of the cards to play the game & loves doing this all by himself! We are excited to see what other new games will come out with the Imagicards!

Fun, and Very engaging
My daughter will love this once she gets to open it on Christmas. I didn't originally plan on buying this particular game, but then I signed up to receive a FREE 10 card Bonus pack as a promotion Leapfrog was doing online. I didn't realize that in order for her to be able to use the Bonus Cards she would need the original game.

    A Big Blast
When this was purchased as a gift for her 4th birthday, The user loved this app at first sight. She loved playing as different characters. She loves it when she scans pup cards to take pictures. I love the feature for when the cards can be picked in the game for when the cards are put away, the Leappad is in a dark spot, or in the car or on road trips. As of today, she still loves it!

This game takes learning to a whole new level!
I was provide with the LeapPad Platinum and the Imagicards for review at no cost. This game takes learning to a whole new level! she is able to interact with the device more with learning how other features work, such as using the camera to scan the cards. I love that you are given clues as well if you need help to find a card. My daughter is familiar with the characters and finds this game the best one she has played. The cards and map that come with this all fold up and store in a little tin holder. She really enjoys this game and I enjoy watching her play it!

Awesome Addition to the LeapFrog Family!
When I heard about the LeapFrog Imagicards, I wasn't too sure what to expect. After receiving them and experiencing them with my daughter, I absolutely love them! I think it's great that these can be used with all LeapFrog LeapPad tablets (except for the LeapPad 1), and that the cards are also included digitally so you can play the full games while on-the-go. This was a definite plus when we went on vacation last week. Not to mention, the branded tin for easy storage is such an added bonus - I hate when cards end up lost because you don't have a wait to organize them. The cards are easy to use and my daughter has an absolute blast - the LeapFrog PAW Patrol Imagicard game is her new favorite! I can't wait to get the other 2 Imagicard games for her to try out. Great job again, LeapFrog, for bringing another fun, educational product to the tech world! I received product for review, but all opinions are 100% my own.

This LeapFrog product brings characters to life by scanning a card. This is an introduction to the picture-scanning concept at a young age, plus the tactile experience that takes you away from an actual screen. My kids had a great time watching their PAWS friends “come to life” with the snapping of a photo. The PAWs characters help them with math skills as well as logical reasoning. The ability to “hide” educational information in a card takes the LeapFrog concept and expands it even further. Imagicard takes educational information and presents it to the kids in a way that is fun and interactive. Every parent loves some down time that screens and electronics provide, but we also worry about how much is too much and trying to limit the time spent plugged in when the weather is great! I love that LeapFrog keeps working to create things for kids to do that are tactile in conjunction with the electronics.

Organic Learning and Lots of Fun
I recently received the PAW Patrol Imagicard Learning Game at no cost for review purposes and have been very pleasantly surprised with how great it is. I feel like this game has really great organic learning opportunities. It doesn't feel like the game is "interrupted" to teach a lesson...the lessons naturally fit into the game quite well. While we had a hard time with the cards at first, the great demo on the LeapPad Platinum had us up and running in no time (you don't actually take a picture, it "sees" the card and "scans" it...we were trying to photograph them). The cards allow the characters to "come to life" and make for a fun interactive experience. I also love that you don't have to have the cards to play since I allow my 4yo daughter to play the LeapPad at rest time and dealing with all those cards would be a bit much. And while I thought the cards were unnecessary, I then found that there are offline games too which is really fun. What a great way to encourage kids to turn off the screen and play with someone else! PAW Patrol is also a fun gender-neutral brand/game. Both my 6yo son and 4yo daughter are big fans of the show and were thrilled to play the game.

Lend a Paw with Paw Patrol!
I was provided with this product in return for my honest opinion. This game has been the biggest hit with my five year-old twin daughters. The package includes a collectable tin, the Imagicards (and they are sturdy--much thicker than a standard playing card) a fold out play mat to sort the cards onto, and a downloadable game. And this is the key for a family with multiples. The game is downloadable so can be played, at the same time, by more than one child. When a new game comes into the house, this is a HUGE bonus! This game arrived in the mail while my girls were off visiting grandparents, so I had a chance to play-test it myself, and I'm not ashamed to say that I really enjoyed playing the game. It is engaging and goal driven. This is the perfect game to get my girls warmed up for Kindergarten. It covers numbers 1-20, basic shapes, patterns, sorting, and some basic arithmetic. My girls may be twins, but they are not the same, and the game adjusts seamlessly for their skill level. On a rainy day it kept them both occupied, entertained and quarrel free for hours! they don't watch a lot of TV, but were somewhat familiar with the Paw Patrol characters. However, the game plays fine if you have no knowledge of the show. The storyline in the game is self contained. I think it is clever how the cards work within the game, when a card is "scanned", or photographed, the characters leap onto the screen. The game can also be played without the cards, as there is a digital card gallery included. I find it interesting that one of my girls likes to physically flip through the cards, while my other prefers the digital gallery. This game is prefect for children from 3-5 years.

Fun addition to the Leap Pad
Great concept! My son (8) love all sorts of cards (Pokeman, Yugi-Oh, etc) and my daughter (5) hasn't ever really been interested but the second she saw these cards she made the correlation to her big brother's cards and loved the idea even more. Once she realized that not only are her favorite Paw Patrol characters on cards, but they come to life and unlock fun games with her already much loved and used LeapPad. My kids are already attached to their LeapPads and the interaction with imagicard only furthered that by allowing them to work on it together in a fun real life and virtual game!

    Works Right the First Time
The one big addition to the new LeapPad device is Imagicards. They are cards that you scan with the LeapPad camera that bring characters to life in a downloadable learning game. You get six Imagicards with the LeapPad Platinum but then you can buy additional card sets. The included Imagicards feature a great variety of what the cards can do and who they feature. Kids can play with the cards on a play mat or through a digital card gallery that enables kids to play on the go without the cards in hand. I also got the LeapFrog Imagicard Paw Patrol to check out and they were an immediate hit! These cards focus on adventures with the Paw Patrol gang pups, numbers 1-20 and a few shapes. My 3 year old needs help with her alphabet and numbers and these cards have been a great help for her already. The game has been helping her recognize her numbers and hopefully she will get those under her belt before preschool starts up again. I am so impressed with how well these cards work, sometimes extras can be tricky but these cards work from the beginning. They only took my daughter about two tries before she had the hang of it and now has no trouble scanning the cards and maneuvering them. The game also prompts kids which card to scan if they don't know which one. Don't have the cards handy? Not a problem you can play the game without them, cards just pop up on the screen and you swipe to it. You can even play with the cards without the LeapPad but sorting them on the included playmat, which is basically just a thin poster but its something. I received the product to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
