Decent quality for the price
My 11 year old son loves it because he can dunk on it. Sturdy enough for the price, though when I went to order another one just a few days later, Walmart had raised the price from $60 to $80.

So disappointed!
The delivery arrived 4 days late than the scheduled date when I placed the order. The box arrived with stains everywhere and broken. Because my son was so anxious to set up the hoop so I opened the box. Obviously the good is not brand new, the parts are not organized well, the manual book is dirty and folded before. One part of the pole has a dent on it. I checked the part list and found two parts are missing. If I can I would like to give it 0 star. The worst purchase I had on Walmart.

    Assembly was good n simple. Put together in about 4 hours over 2 days...Could have used a second pair of hands. But was able to go alone. Instructions were simple

    Not easy to put together. We had hard time screwing together the 2 pieces that hold the foot up, I had to slightly bend the tip for it to sit properly on the foot. One of the pics shows the area that I am talking about. I don't think it would take long to put it together but for me it was because I was doing it with my 2 sons teaching them how to put something together. The overall product is good so far.

    Very Disappointed
    I bought a basketball hoop for my son for christmas we went to put it together and one of the hooks on the rim was broken off. I called and emailed lifetime and they said they would send me a replacement rim but its back ordered for a few weeks so here its January 14th and my son still isn't able to use his basketball hoop. Very disappointed

    Great Basketball Goal!
    This basketball goal came with lots of parts but they were all there. I put it together by myself in two or three hours. I read reviews that criticized the manual, but who reads manuals anyhow? The pictures in the manual actually came in handy. Attaching the backboard to the pole could have been difficult, but since I used a portable table (like the manual suggested) it was fairly easy. I am impressed with its outstanding quality, great Wal~Mart price, and super-fast FedEx delivery. Now I need a score board!

    Love the goal but not the assembly
    After three and a half hours we finally got the goal together and realized some of it was wrong and had to redo it. There are no words in the instructions.....only pictures. I had a neighbor man that was going to help me and after looking at the Manuel he said he couldn't. I hired a retired maintenance man because he had worked at a school and figured he had done these before. He said it was the hardest thing he had ever put together. The goal itself is very nice but so so hard to assemble.

    Great Buy!!!
    This is a really nice basketball system. Not the best of directions but if you take your time it's not too bad. Love the ease of raising it from 8' to 10'. You can not go wrong for the price. When completed it looks like systems that cost hundreds of dollars more.

    Be careful with the instructions
    Overall, I think this is a great basketball goal and you can't beat the price. In fact, after it came in, I realized that 2 other kids on our block have the same one. I am an Engineering student and had difficulties with the instructions. Pay close attention to the diagrams as many times the images of bolts or screws are not obvious and you will be forced to go back and put them in later. This is why it took me over 5 hours to assemble it. The instructions are sometimes vague and the pictures of bolts that you must install are not shown off to the side, but rather in front of images in the background which makes it hard to see everything you have to install each step. I also had to buy a lock nut or two myself because they were missing, but I was out less than a buck. Lifetime customer service also rushed me another ball pump because mine was broken right out of the box.
