In looking for a quality kayak to enjoy the local rivers and lakes, this manufacturer was highly recommended for quality, pricing, weight and durability. Their Customer Service was highlighted as among the very best anywhere. I found it easy to manage in transport, carrying, launching and recovery. Agility and true line of travel were commensurate with the skills of the person using the kayak. Comfortable with adjustable seat and foot pegs. Drain plug easy to use and kayak light enough to tilt upright for drainage even with water in the craft from rapids of cast off from using the paddles. Fun experience and extremely satisfied with products. When you have a great product at a great price and manufacturer customer service, you just have to take time to do a review of your own experience. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Worst online experience ever!!!!
I ordered this item June 20th, didn't get it until July 10th, 10 days after its scheduled arrival! Upon being freighted through 2 different companies, it was lost, then 2 days later recovered, and then the whole order was cancelled! After being on the phone with Walmart and pilot freight for a week straight trying to get this mess figured out it was finally somewhat resolved. When I got my kayak it was scratched up, black dust covered it from top to bottom, there were missing pieces, broken pieces, and random pieces that didn't even belong with the kayak! I called Walmart they said nothing they could do other then return it and send me something else and that LAST thing I was going to do was wait another 3-4 weeks for a replacement! Luckily lifetime actually STANDS BEHIND their products and is sending me replacement pieces! I will NEVER EVER order from Walmart again, not big freight anyways...I suggest no else either!! I can't get the pictures to upload but the kayak was a mess when it was received!!

    They should stock these items in store to be bought, I paid $70 shipping only to take the plastic off and find it all scuffed up and gouges in it

    Very bad kayaks
    This is the worse kayak ever I bought 2 n me n my wife kayak all the time n wanted to try these n they totally are trash my wife stopped paddling n the kayak never stays straight it always turns to right or left n we thought it was the weight so I tried mine n the same I highly recommend nobody to buy them

    Great Fishing Kayak!
    There are numerous amenities to the Payette Angler Kayak. It's lightweight and easy to carry, especially with the hand grips just inside the opening. The opening is wide which makes it easier to get in and out and provides more room for accessing my tackle box. The low profile makes it easier for me to row without scraping my knuckles. The pole holders are a great convenience.

    What I expected from Walmart
    This is my first kayak and I am in love with it! It's great. Has three fishing pole holders (two in the back and one up front). There is also dry storage in the back. It's not real deep and doesn't appear to be watertight, but would be great for use as a cooler. This is a great, inexpensive kayak for a beginner! All of that being said, ordering through Walmart went exactly as I expected. First, my kayak arrived a week later than the expected date. No big deal. Just meant I wasn't going to be paddling for another week. What really made me upset was when I saw how my kayak was handled. It had a huge gash taken out of the side of it and the entire front portion was scratched and marked up with pretty deep gouges. But as I was saying.. I had anticipated this. This is a great kayak. Please buy it if you're looking to get into kayaking or want an inexpensive one. Just be aware of ordering it from Walmart.

    Fantastic Customer Service!
    Lifetime decided not to continue selling spray skirts for this kayak, and only lists Length and Width. Obviously, the circumference was missing. Customer service transferred me to one of their kayak specialist, Caleb, who was nothing short of "GREAT". His database did not have the info, so we went into the warehouse to find this exact Kayak, but to no avail. So I asked how can we think outside the box to achieve our goal, and he suggested talking to one of the engineers while I waited on the phone. Within two minutes, he came back with the answer, 109.5". He told me the engineer checked via a design program, and bingo! My only complaint is that this info was not listed within their specifications, and hopefully will be confirmed and listed within the day. I would have given it four stars, but Caleb went beyond the call of duty, hence the five stars. Once I find a spray skirt that will fit a 109.5" opening, I will buy it immediately! ...and I'm not one to write reviews, but when someone shines so bright, I just had to let their customers and company know.     Great Kayak for the money
    Easy to carry, comfortable, plenty of room inside to store fishing gear. Love the color. Very easy to clean, it has a drain plug so you can let the water out of it after you clean it.

    Love the fact that it has a drain plug in the front on top for draining any extra water out. two rod holders behind seat and one in front. The one in front is perfect. best bang for the buck. light, roomy, durable.
