which bag
Please compare the size of the family bag to the regular bag. I have a recipe that I've used for years with regular bags......how many reg. bags make up a family bag???

Lipton Iced Tea, 24 Family Size
I bought the above and my husband complained that it did not taste the same as it usually did. We looked at the bags and they were decaffenated bags, and the packaging did not indicate such. Just bought another box to check the content, and they were the ones we usually purchase. This box must have had a mix up with your quality control dept. Has this ever happened before?

    Something has changed-
I grew up & am still using Lipton teas. I prefer to drink iced tea, all year round. I usually make it by the 1/2-gallon, because that is the size of canning jar I use. That being said, I start out with 4-family sized tea bags tied together then fill the jar with water. I sometimes, depending on the weather will set it outside in the sun. Then after a few hours & checking the darkness of the tea will bring inside & place in the refrigerator. Now, you would think 4-family sized bags & 8 cups of water the tea would be strong, wrong. It is weak, & after the jar is 1/2 gone I will place an additional 2-family sized bags & fill the remainder with water, (about 4 C.) After all that, the tea is about right. Now 6-family sized bags & 8-cups of water-something is NOT right, wouldn't you say-

    Bags shorted
The tea is okay; however, it isn't as good as it was years ago so I'm not sure what's going on there. My complaint is that the last few packages I've purchased contain only 23 bags, not 24. That's really irritating. The box says 24, I expect 24.

I can't taste the tea flavor
I can't taste the tea flavor going along with the recommended directions. Now maybe its because either have the decaf but it doesn't seam like it should make a difference. I take 2 cups of water, boil it, dump it in a piture, I add the 2 family size tea bags, dip it in up and down a bit, then let it sit, then I pull it out add 4 regular silverware spoon size scoops of sugar, a pinch of baking soda and I mix, then I add 2 cups of cold water. And I chill it in the fridge for a while and then take it out and try it and it doesn't barely taste like tea, I just taste the sugar

    What has changed???
I am in my mid 50's and have been making ice tea for over 40 years. I have ALWAYS used Lipton tea, I grew up on Lipton. But I am not sure what is going on but the last 3 times I bought Lipton tea bags it's either so dark it looks like coffee and tastes old or its just flavorless...Not sure what is going on with your packaging Department, but never have I had so much loose tea in the bottom of the box nor have I ever had tea bags just not closed. This last time I threw away over half of the box because the tea bags weren't closed.( This to me is a huge waste of money!) Your slipping Lipton and it's not a good thing. If it keeps up I WILL be changing to a different product. Very disappointing.

    Horrible repackaging idea
This new repackagin idea is horrible and it really doesn't use less material since you have to use double the amount of bags to get the same strength of tea and every single time the powdered tea used in the formulation leaks from the bags making an undrinkable mess. Guess it is time to find a new brand.

    What happened!
I have been drinking Lipton Tea for most of my adult years. The last box of family size bags I bought is just not good. No matter how many bags I use, it comes out tasting watered down. I had my daughter in law make a pitcher to make sure it wasn't me. It turned out with the same watery taste. If this happens with the next box, I will be switching brands.

    Best tea ever!
The only tea I have used for over 50 years is Lipton. When money is tight, I have tried other brands but quickly realized they do not have the same quality of Lipton, so in essence, I wasted my money trying a cheaper brand. I am so glad your company has stopped with the paper outer wrapping of your bags; it is much more convenient for me because I'm not struggling with the wrapper anymore. (I have arthritis.) I know some ppl probably won't agree with the wrapper not being used anymore but for me, it totally works. Plus the bags take us less room in my canister so that means less refilling! Win for me all the way around. Thanks again, Lipton.
