I grow up with Lipton soup
We tried many of soups when I was growing up Lipton was our favorite and after all these years it remains my favorite. some of my friends been quarantine , I gave care packages to them and in there will be a couple of boxes of Lipton chicken soup just a simple note to say Thank you for all these years for Great soup

What happened to this soup?
My daughter was sick with a cold. She and I have loved this soup for many, many years, so I purchased and made some for her. It was totally tasteless! Just noodles in colored water. Yuck! If I remember correctly, there used to be a packet of granulated chicken stock. Apparently, that's where all the flavor was, and it's sorely missing! I'm so sorry to say I won't be making it again.

However, we had no choice but to buy this "new recipe" and unfortunately we were not very happy with it. The flavour is not bad, although not as good as the original and the broth is very starchy and sticks to the side of the pot while simmering, causing the broth to be less flavourful and somewhat cloudy. When you take a packet of soup with you to work you don't have the cooking instructions. Would make sense to add them to the individual packets.Holly

I will say that its a good base to build from. Ive made egg drop soup, and other chicken broth based soups from the packet but just as is it is a very ok meal. It was not too salty with a good chicken flavour. I ate this a few times a week as a snack. There was a suggested recipe card but I did not have a chance to try it. I had enough for everyone in my family, we all enjoyed it on a very cold and weather day. Needless to say it warm us all up. What I like about Lipton is they have a very unique broth taste you cant find anywhere else. My boyfriend ended up tell us all when he was a kid his mother always gave him this when he was sick. I couldn't believe my fussy kids enjoyed it. I will be buying this for the family just incase we get sick. Keep childhood memories alive.ltdtalways
