Don't believe the hype
Received the stand on a Thursday and returned it the next day for three reasons. I listed them below. The box say all welded silent platform...very noisy The box says no tools required...two wrenches needed Safety harness is not one piece. It actually has to be put together. This might not matter to most however, to me it does.

    Great treestand
    The Hawk Mega Combat hang-on treestand is very well built treestand with a comfortable seat cushion , it's made to sit in for hours! And the price is friendly for most hunting budgets.

    Looks good, only flaws are ....
    have yet to use it but it seems well designed, lite and love the large platform!! Not a fan of the suspension cables or strap hangers smoothness. As I do all portable tree stands with cable supports, I changed out for chains so I know it can be trusted. The price was right and you always need ' at least one more'.

    Very quiet and lightweight
    I bought 2 Mega Combats last year and liked them so much I bought 2 more. I like how well built it is for how lightweight it is. I also like how it doesn't squeak in the colder weather.

    Not overly impreesed
    I bought 2 Mega Combats&5 Combats and have found the same situation,structurally they're quiet,comfortable and rock solid.However the finish is embarrassing,I've only had them out in the field for a month and already seeing rust...how is this possible???

    Great stand with one major issue
    I bought this stand cuz I want to primarily run hawk stands. I love this stand BUT the cushion for the seat is absolutely terrible! I sit on it and it goes so flat it's like sitting on cardboard. If you want a stand for short sits this is it but if you're like me and hunt morning noon and night this is NOT the stand for you unless you can figure out a different cushion.

    Good stand
    Its a nice stand that is light when you use the straps for your shoulders. Just wish that the inserts for the seat was a little more fitted for the bolt. Tested it on a bigger tree to maximize the strap for the tree and it was really nice, comfortable and sturdy.
