Night smooth candle and bucket!
I received my Mainstays 30-Ounce, 3-Wick Outdoor Citronella Bucket Candle. The bucket color is a very smooth black color. The bucket is made of metal and is big and will last a long time! I just LOVE outdoors and nights outside using these candles. Where I live we have lots of bugs and mosquitoes. These candles keep those away. Just light them and place them around your deck. They are so beautiful and fun! To light them you just need a match or lighter. The bucket size is 7.1-inch painted and is very safe to use. The wicks and candle will last for up to 50 hours. The citronella oil is as a mosquito repellent and smells oh so good! This color will fit in any yard or deck décor! The bucket is so attractive and has a handle to move it around with. This is for outdoor use only. These candles come in different bucket colors and designs. I have several of all colors!! These are great for camping and outdoor parties. I love mine! They provide a lot of light and bug protection and last a long time. I buy several every year! Great for any occasion such as late night cookouts or parties. These are a must have!!

Definitely noticed a difference on patio.
This citronella (outdoor) flat black candle is generous in size brings ambiounce to our patio. They are designed to mask the scent of people.  I like the covers so after they are done burning and are cool I can protect the candle from the elements and dust between uses. First we placed the candle on the ground while we're were doing chalk drawings out front on the driveway. Surrounded by concrete and landscaping rocks in November we still had a few mosquitoes chasing us. Not enough coverage for 1 candle in an open area to hide our scent. Definately reduced pests though. The second time we used it under the covered patio out back where we had grass. It worked much better in a more enclosed area. Our girls are allergic to mosquitoes so we have to be careful. This helps cut the amount of bugs in the open area, but worked much better on the patio. I would not rely on it to protect them alone. Note if you are playing in an open grass area it probably won't work. More than one candle would be great to cover surrounding area. I would still recommend wearing a natural bug repellent and not just use the candle alone if repelling is important to you. Burn the candle each time at least so that the top layer is completely melted to prevent pitting. I think these are better at setting a relaxing mood, yet I did notice a reduction in all bugs including mosquitoes on the patio. We are in the thr Valley in Arizona. Property richer in nature may be more challenging.

    Strong smelling, looks great, sturdy lid
    - Made in USA - 3 wicks - Bucket has a handle It has a lid that's sturdy enough to keep and I'm pretty happy about that. It means I can leave it outside and it won't get manky. I like the size and 3 wicks. It helps spread the citronella quicker and wider. It does smell very strongly. I feel like it's more than a citronella smell, somewhat floral. It's too strong to sit right next to, for me, but I have a lot of allergies. Point being, it's doing its job and looking good while doing it and staying looking good with the lid (the store sticker is made to come off easily).

    Tabletop centerpieces for Outdoor
    Perfect for outdoor use. Love the three wick candle to burn down evenly. I have a pool and we do family and friends gathering. We have it setup with a living room and evenings we get mosquito and it's a nice smell. Not too strong when it burns and displays very nice. Black goes with everything. Nice idea to put in bucket goes with outdoor yard theme. I have used it for only a week and half and have it on for 1-2 hrs maxed. Looks like it will last for quite a bit of time.

    What you might expect
    Large citronella candle. Has a faint soapy like smell. It smells like citronella strongly even before lighting it. While burning it's equally strong. Not a lot of mesquites out now but I didn't see any while burning the candle either. Very big. Burns average not too fast or slow in my opinion. Should last through mesquite season if you burn it every once in a while.

    I received the Mainstays 30 ounce 3 wick citronella candle to use and to give an honest opinion of the product. This candle stands 7.09 inches in diameter and 5.12 inches in height. I received the candle in a flat black color. These 3 wick citronella candle comes in a variety of colors and designs. The candle is in a metal bucker with a sturdy carrying handle, It has a nice fitted lid to help keep the candle clean when not in use. The candle has a nice lemony like smell to it that is not overpowering and keeps those bugs away. The 3 wicks give off a nice soft glow to enhance your outdoor space. After about 15 minutes burning time I could tell the citronella candle was doing its job. I love this candle. It is sturdy and seems to be a high quality candle. It is also a decent price. With all the mosquitos in Georgia it will be a big help in my outdoor space. To have a bigger mosquito free area you will need more than one candle. The more candles you have the more area stays bug free. And with the candles set around your outdoor space the more warm glow you will have. These candles are perfect for camping and cooking out. They are great on the porch or a balcony or deck. Do not use these candles inside or on a closed in porch. Do not leave children or pets unattended around the candles. Always place the candle on a flat secure surface. The candle does better when the cotton wick is trimmed to 1/4 inch in length. Make sure your candle is completely cool before you put the lid on it after use. I give the Mainstays 3 wick 30 ounce citronella candle 5 stars and will purchase more of these beauties.

    Love The Look
    It is galvanized which has that gray stainless steel look. With the modern look and the three wicks, this is great for my deck and backyard. Once the candle is gone I will be able to use this bucket in so many places. Love that the cover can be put back on to protect the candle when not in use.

    If you're a mosquito magnet you need this
    If you're a mosquito magnet like I am you need this if you're going to sit outdoors. I'm in AZ and apparently it's still mosquito season even in the middle of November. This came in VERY handy when sitting on the deck without getting eaten alive. I love the black bucket and the handle makes it easy to carry around. I plan on using the bucket for something else after all the wax is gone which is a bonus in my opinion. The bucket is light and small enough but the amount of wax looks like it will last a VERY long time. When you open the lid the scent is overpowering (in my opinion) and I really don't care for it, but noticed after it started burning the smell wasn't nearly as strong. The nice thing is it doesn't have to be right next to you to be effective. You will want to buy multiples of these though to create a perimeter to keep the little blood suckers away. The only con for me is I wish it had more natural ingredients besides the oil.

    Huge citronella candle!
    This huge 30 ounce citronella candle will last a long time! I love the size and the galvanized bucket it is in is cute. It has a little handle too and a plastic lid. We put it out on our patio table while we were out at night and it definitely did keep most of the bugs away. There were still some bugs but we definitely noticed a difference. It also has 3 wicks which I like because I feel like it's putting more out into the air. I would recommend!
