Ceiling fan-basic but good quality
This is the best! Came in a very small box I was quite impressed. Once again this features reversible fan blades which is think is sooo cool because I am a fan of switching up decor snd it's an easy way to do so. One side is white snd the other is a brown wood. Features a single glass dome light and has 2 pull chains- AND bonus points for coming with the necessary bulb!

Decent Ceiling Fan…But Serious Problem
We have wanted to update the living room ceiling fan for a number of years. So when I saw this fan, I liked it. It has a simple look and has a matte light globe which makes the light more comfortable, not as harsh and glaring.
The problem occurred during installation. Looking over the instructions it seemed straightforward. Since there was already a fan in place, supports were strong. So just switch them out. All was going well until it came to screwing the motor assembly to the hanging bracket. See picture #3. Three screws are used to mount the motor to the bracket. Two on the one side were fine. PROBLEM : The single screw on the left was not. The threads of this hole in the bracket were drilled upside down.
Not wanting to give up, my son was able to fit the screw in from the top, securing that side. My son is in construction and made it work and made sure it would be very safe.
But, if you do buy this, check out the holes on the hanging bracket to make sure the threads are all going the same way, if not, return it to be safe!

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/26/2023Ceiling fan light for rooms up to 12x12THE MAINSTAYS 42 INCH INDOOR CEILING FAN WITH LIGHT is a flush mount system (no -slope ceiling) that accomodates low ceilings > 7 feet from the floor and 30 inches from any wall. I have the white fan and the 4 blades are reversible from white to medium wood grain. There are two pull chains located on left and right of the light. The fan picture is for the fan which operates low, medium, and high. The lightbulb picture is for the light. A LED bulb is included which uses 9 watts which is equivalent to 60 watt. This fan can be set to reverse with a switch ( up or down) to accomodate summer or winter temperatures. The estimated yearly cost is about $9.00. I put this fan light in my garage kitchen where I do my canning after the growing season. The light is great and the fan is an extra bonus to keep the heat down.Ginger6

At high speed I can barely feel it above my bed. It's white which is fine but just disappointed that it is the same as other hugger ceiling fans.Hanley

I like the two modes for air flow and makes a difference in summer and winter. Also the choice of the two sides fan blades. Easy wipe off cleaning with rag or a vacuum.Dee

It has a reverse function which means it cools in the summer and recirculates hot air in the winter, which is a nice feature that should save you some money on your utility bills. The fan mounst almost flush to the ceiling, so if you try to mount on an angled ceiling, this probably won't work for you. It has a nice, ean all white look. The other side of the fan blades are brown and can be mounted with that side facing down for those who prefer that. I personally prefer the all white look amd think it looks better that way. It comes with an LED bulb which is nice and also convenient. It also has 3 speeds... hi, medium and low. Would definitely recommend this fan.AnonyMouse

It is ideal for medium size rooms, up to 15ft x 15ft. The blades are white on one side and a grey wood grain on the other side and you can choose which side is facing downward. I love that the fan came with a light bulb. I always forget those. I also really like that the fan blades are reversible. I get to choose between a wood grain look or plain white. For now, the plain white blades match my decor better. One thing I would change is to have longer pull cords. The area where I plan to use this fan doesn't operate with a light switch so I have to manually use the pull cords and I cannot reach them because I am too short. Other than that minor detail, I am pleased with this ceiling fan.Kat
