Thin Mauve Burlap - not pink sheer
The curtains are not sheers, but more like a very thin burlap. They also are not pink but more of a dirty mauve color. I have waited for months and months for what appears to be mainstays real pink shears, but to no avail. If you want pink, do not select these curtains.

    Beautiful curtains
    These curtains are light, airy and breezy, but not too shear. I have purchased these curtains in nearly all the colors. They are an excellent value for the money. I plan to buy more.

    Heavy material
    We haven't put up the curtain but it's not hard to tell (and feel) that the material is quite sturdy and heavy. It is apparently a sheer curtain as described. The material should hold up pretty well with the heavy material it's made of. Compared to the curtain we currently have, which is a bit more sheer than this product, the material is thicker, however not as soft. So if you don't mind the softness level, I would recommend trying this product.

    I like the Mainstays Bel Air 63” white, sheer panel. I'm using it in two different ways. First, my daughter doesn't like her room to be completely dark when she sleeps, and, since she's sixteen, it can't be too dark or too light. It has to be just right. To add to the challenge of lighting, she likes to sleep with her window open. So now the ability for fresh air to flow through her room is also something to consider. Do you feel my struggle? Hello, Mainstays sheer panel! Unlike some sheer panels, Mainstays' panel has a gauze-like feel and pattern. The panel lends itself to a bit more privacy and allows for a breeze to filter through. My daughter loves it!!! For me, I'm using it uniquely. Next to our front door is a long, narrow window. Depending on the time of day, nosy-ness of the looky-loo, and lighting, there is a clear line of sight from the outside into our home. I like the brightness the window brings into the foyer, especially when the weather is too unpleasant to have the door open. However, I'd like it covered at night. Since it's such a small window, I didn't want to install anything and deal with tiebacks. When I'm ready for privacy, I use the Mainstay sheer panel folded over a clothes hanger to block the view. The fabric is pretty, and the idea works like a charm! All in all, I'm quite pleased with using the panel as intended and a bit creatively. Two thumbs up!

    Elegant panel
    Very elegant looking sheer panel. Let's light through with a bit of privacy. I wish I had several more. Material feels sturdy enough but would recommend hand or gentle washing. 50x84”, so would recommend two panels unless you're leaving it closed.

    Nice quality
    I think this is a well made basic curtain....however, I am not a huge fan of the gauze like material. If this is a look you are going for you will like it, but I can't hang something that looks like a wound dressing in my house. If the material was a little thicker or maybe in a different color it would look better.

    White "Airy" Curtains
    These Mainstay panel curtains are very nice. They are a light mesh (linen look) material. They are made of 100% polyester. The mesh look makes them look very light and airy. They are bright white and will compliment any room… they would be awesome in a beach house. They appear to be well made and are stitched well along the seams and rod pocket. They are 50”x84”. These curtains are machine washable.
