A nice chair for what you pay--no negatives at all
FedEx delivered this at 10:00 p.m. and didn't know it was at door until getting email about it an hour later. The box was barely taped shut, so it must have had a hard journey. Chair had some paper scraps on it, but those brushed off easily. All the parts were in the box and so easy to screw the legs onto the chair. Love that part! Had a tag you can call, if parts are missing. Chair feels soft and is very wide. Much bigger than I thought it would be. I would definitely buy another of these chairs. Local place wanted $50.00 to deliver a chair a mile and a half--sorry, Walmart got my business and that place lost a loyal customer. This chair is worth the money it costs and it does take about two weeks to get it, but worth the wait. Happy customer in Phoenix.

We've purchased this chair in the past, and just ordered another 4 of these, however it appears they are not the original Mainstay chairs, as the red color is now a more faded "wine" red, and not the vibrant red they advertise and used to sell. It appears Walmart might be substituting another brand in which has a less appealing color and is not as comfortable (appears to be very similar to a brand sold on Wayfair). I have no idea why this might be the case, but it is unfortunate, as we were disappointed with the new one's just received.

    Great Buy!
    These chairs are beautiful and comfortable! I will be honest and admit that the legs of the chair are plastic and have a has a slight wobble to it (one of my chairs anyway-I purchased 2) but, nothing that can't be over looked..Most importantly I love the seat width.

    Excellent buy…love them
    I have a small room. I needed a couple of chairs for guests that were gorgeous and comfortable but not too humongous. I absolutely love these! They were exactly what I needed. They're pretty comfortable even though they're barrel chairs and they only come up to your shoulders with no headrest… That's OK. They are super comfortable. I absolutely love them great purchase.

    I love this chair! It's the perfect size for a corner. The color is as stated, it will take a little while to soften up but overall it was a great buy! We're still moving in but when the room is finished, it will look great!

    These chairs are amazing! Nicely constructed, beautiful black velvet material. No assembly time except twisting on the legs which was super easy. Highly recommend!

    Perfect chair for a room filler
    I bought this chair to fill a corner in our bedroom. It did the job just right. Looks good and is soft. I would not recommend this chair for seating that gets used often. We only use it occasionally to put on our shoes or a quick sit. It's more of a chair that you really don't use. It's just not a comfy gonna last kind of chair. Perfect for a show piece.

    I just got it so I have no idea about longevity (which is why I didn't go ahead and give it five stars) but I love it! All I had to do when it arrived was screw the legs in and put it where is wanted, which was super easy to do because of how lightweight it is. It isn't a “sink into it” kind of chair but it is comfy and firm and with a little accent pillow for lumbar support, I could sit here for hours. I've already ordered another one for the bedroom because I keep walking in to my husband sitting in it. So now he can have one too! Ha!

    Cute and comfy. Plus really easy to assemble. I would've given it 5 stars. Only a small hole of material is missing on the bottom. I can see the wood. However it's not big enough to return it. Only a small nick that only I know is there. Pretty chair for the price. I just ordered a end table to match.

    Perfect for a small sitting
    I purchased 2 in the gray which is a beautiful soft silvery gray. They are very comfortable and wide enough to accommodate larger frames. Only assembly was screwing in the legs. They are light weight and easy to move around. The price was the best for this type of chair online. Delivered in a reasonable amount of time. I am overall very pleased with the product and highly recommend it.

    Sadly! Too many Imperfections.
    For the price point, I was keeping my expectations low despite the raving positive reviews. I am truly bummed because the chair I received had a deep score mark in the fabric on the back curve of the chair like it was grazed by an exacto knife. The seat also had score lines that could not be rubbed away. Which might be because they chair legs were placed on the seat chair, and one of the screws had poked through the plastic bag they were in. ~The color is more like a brick red, not a deep scarlet like in picture. It really does look like a cheap chair which is obviously why they were marked down 100$. It is a firm cushion and a perfect size for a small space, but I just wish it looked better. I wish I had ordered the brown or black, maybe that would have looked better. This color just shows way too many imperfections. Let's see how the return process goes.
