Unusually deep plates!
I was really surprised at how tall the outer edges of the dinner plates are. I think that's why they would be good for persons with limited dexterity, arthritis, for example. Or anyone who eats rice or peas! Lol! The bowls are super deep, and the coffee mugs are big enough for serious coffee drinkers! They're deep red, true to the color pictured online. I am very pleased with this purchase! Would recommend!!

Bought these to replace my Mainstays apple dishes my husband bought 16 yrs ago. Im by far not a picky person but Im extremely disappointed with my new dishes. Marks from the kiln and the glaze is not evenly covering the dishes. One of the bowls are chipped. I bought 2 sets and wasted my money. Would have better off going to a second hand store.

    Great dishes.
    Very nice dishes. More of a dull corn yellow then butter like I thought but not bad. Great quality stoneware but that makes it heavy. Love that the mugs and bowls are larger then old sets, much more useful. I was afraid both sets i ordered would be broken but just really depends on your delivery people i think. Mine were thankfully both good.

    Beautiful color and great IF they would arrive unchipped/broken. Both sets (2 separate deliveries) have arrived with chips. This second one with shattered pieces.

    horrible handling.
    I love the dishes set I would.gove that a 5 star.. However, the person who delivered my items broke 2 of my coffee cups.

    Very impressed
    These dishes are better quality than I thought they would be. They seem heavy, thick and durable. No dishes were broken during delivery. They were packed well in the boxes.

    Needs more packing materials
    Ordered online and unfortunately one of the mugs in the set arrived broken. Overall, the 16pc set itself seems to be sufficiently packed but it's then placed into a larger Walmart.com shipping box and that's where the problem was. There was not enough packing materials used inside that larger box to prevent shifting/movement which is probably why it ended up with a broken piece inside. Also, there was no FRAGILE or other information on outside of box to indicate that there are items inside that could break or are delicate. I contacted Customer Service and got the refund request processed. Had to return all 16pcs because they could not replace just the broken mug. I hope the replacement set arrives with no damage because I really liked the set and would recommend it. I'll review again after the replacement arrives.

    Attractive and Appear Durable.
    Aqua Rainforest Dinnerware just arrived undamaged. These have exceeded my expectations. Time will tell about how they hold up. I will be ordering another set soon.
