Nice looking and easy assembly
This a very pretty bench and looks like it is well made and will last a long time. I needed something weatherproof I could leave under a tree in the yard. The only problem with assembly was that it's long and hard to move around. I did the assembly by myself on the kitchen table. Would be so easy with two people. It's set up and we have both sat on it and it seems to hold our weight with no problem. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I really wanted this bench. I needed a bench to replace one that got ruined. I wasn't sure how thrilled I was going to be because of the back is straight but it was a good price and the most important thing for me is that it said it came fully assembled so I ordered it. I should have read the reviews to see that it doesn't come fully assembled but the description says fully assembled. I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do because I don't have the ability to assemble it. "Arrives fully assembled for immediate placement"

    Mainstays Park bench
    Bench came wrapped in plastic. No scratches or marks. It is heavier than stated in description. Nice well made and sturdy. It really does take two to put it together since it weighs more. Looking forward to enjoying sitting on it.

    Disappointed
    At first I thought it was really good, but as I was trying to put it together I noticed in more than one place there were scratches and paint chipped I'm very very disappointed with this purchase I had such high hopes the paint is deteriorating and it's chipping away

    Happy with this bench!
    Received this bench the next day of ordering! It was easily mounted and then used by happy reader within hour of reception. It serves well the purpose it was bought for. I recommend using some cushions to be confortable.

    Nice looking but poor components.
    The bench arrived timely but when I attempted to assemble it the screws were of very poor quality. One screw twisted in half and another bent with just my hands using the provided allen wrench. The bench seat, bench back and bench arms seems to be of decent quality for the money and the bench has a nice look to it but since I can't really assemble it property I can't use it to actually sit on. I have attempted contact with the manufacturer, time will tell if they do anything about it.

    I LOVE this bench. It's the perfect size for the corner of my yard. I put it together by myself in about 30 minutes or less. I got it because I have two 7lbs Yorkshire Terriers. Living in the Southwest where a lot of critters also live, whenever they are out I need to keep an eye on them. Now it is easy to do because I sit on my bench, drink my coffee, and watch them as they play. This was one of the best purchases I've made for my yard!

    Well priced and great quality!
    I looked last year for a garden bench under $100 and could not find anything so I was thrilled when I found this one and even more thrilled at the superb quality! It's perfect!

    Very nice and sturdy ,except 1 was scratched
    The Mainstay benches are really nice and very sturdy. I ordered two . My son assembled the benches and one was all scratched up in the seating area. He had put the box outside and it got rained on , not knowing the seating area was scratched on one of them. I was told by the Company the part I needed was out of stock and they were not going to get it in because the benches are being discontinued for next year. So now I can’t return because I don’t have a box .

    Easy to assemble, Strong metal
    I bought 2 of these benches to replace my old garden bench. This bench is about 35 lb (the description on the product page shows 10.84 lb is incorrect). The bench is very sturdy. I only need to put 10 screws on to assemble. All 10 screws and 1 screwdriver are included in the package. It only takes me 10 mins to finish assembling.

    Seat slats too widely spaced
    The bench is sturdy enough for the price but the seat slats are spaced so widely that a toddlers foot can slip through and cause injury.
