A good wax
It is a gray paste I have a black car it put a clean shine unlike I have ever seen it will not fill scratches and make them dark it will dull them, less is more a little goes a long way I also purchased a wipe/buffing rag two sided it from Walmart it helped bring a true shine. I will use and buy this product again.

I would have liked it better if it was truly black it is more of a charcoal gray color but it does help hide scratches I would imagine if you have a gray or charcoal gray car it would be even better

    Awesome product!
    First of all, if you own a black car never use regular wax that leaves a layer of white on it because you will have a terrible time getting it off. Now, Meguiar wax will save you a lot of frustrations and leave you with a beautiful shine on your vehicle that everyone will be asking, how did get your car looking so beautiful. It is the best wax ever for a black vehicle and you will love the results. Awesome product!

    Black Wax Performs Well
    This works VERY well on my black, 2006 Mercedes. Paint was worn and even the best wax showed white spots when it was dried and polished. This helped to eliminate the car's paint-ping spots and give it a smooth, black finish

    My Go-To Wax for Black Cars
    This is my go-to top coat wax. It goes on easy, comes off easy, produces a nice mirror shine, and lasts for at least a few months. If I get the last coat put on late in the fall, it still beads water by the spring thaw.

    Meguiar's Black Wax
    Meguiar's should call this wax Black Magic because it is magic the way it works on a black car. Before I applied Meguiar's Black Wax I clay bar'd my car with Mother's Clay Bar Kit which is what I had on hand and then used Meguiar's Ultimate Compound on a few spots that needed to be rubbed out. Meguiar's Ultimate Compound does a great job on the spots that show up on a black car and you can use it by hand if you don't want to use an electric buffer which I do not have. (Perhaps Meguiar's can send me some of their clay bar kit so I can compare it to the Mother's that I used). I realize this was a lot of extra prep work but it pays off big time with your cars finish. Most others car waxes that I have used come in a round can or a plastic bottle but Meguiar's Black Wax is completely different. It comes in a large tube and squirts out looking like gray toothpaste. I placed some on the foam applicator pad that came with the Meguiar's Black Wax and squeezed the round applicator together to even out the black wax on it. I applied the Meguiar's Black Wax with firm back and forth motions doing a small section at a time. When the section got hazy looking I buffed the section with a clean microfiber cloth ( I always remove any tags on the microfiber cloths as they will scratch your black paint). After completing (2) sections I stepped back to see what difference my work had made to my black car's finish and it was jaw dropping. Wow. The black sections that had been treated with Meguiar's Black Wax were darker and shinier and smoother than the rest of my car. I could't wait to finish the rest of my car applying Meguiar's Black Magic Wax one section at a time. When the car was done one of my neighbors passed by and asked me if I had just had the car repainted? I showed him my tube of Meguiar's Black Magic Wax and told him Walmart has this at a great price and he should get some for his black car. If you follow my advice and properly prep your car and then apply Meguiar's Black Magic Wax I guarantee you won't be going home with the newspaper on Saturday night (smile).

    Excellent product
    Have been very pleased with this product. My husband is a detailer and he is very pleased with the way it looks when he waxed my Black (Coupe) Cadillac. We will purchase it again. Thank you Walmart for stocking this wax. I will be back for more when needed.
