Just ok.....
Got this for my mother, who is an avid crime/thriller reader and she just thought it was predictable and it really didn't have the 'excitement' Patterson's books usually have. Said she finished it in an hour, as it just a story, not a novel.

Michael and his family attend the Thanksgiving Day parade when a supposed terrorist drives a truck into the crowd, narrowly missing Mike and his family. Then, Michael chases the terrorist, but he escapes. Mike is assigned to work on the task force with the FBI and a Russian source. This is a timely story, considering the terrorist attacks around the world. This one has a twist, though. I liked this book because it was fast-paced, while still having a good amount of action. #Michael Bennett #Manhunt #James Pattersonrmarcin

The parade's just beginning; the Snoopy balloon's passing by when a truck bypasses the barricade, mowing down parade participants and spectators. Then it explodes. Who's behind the attack? Michael Bennett is determined to find the answer for the “holiday terror” that struck right in front of his family and made it personal for him. This BookShots story follows the tale told in “The Haunted” but stands on its own perfectly well. Most of the characters are well-defined from previous Michael Bennett tales; readers unfamiliar with the series, however, will find the characterization sparse. But BookShots are not about characterization; they're about pulse-pounding, fast-paced action. Readers will find the timely plot pulls them into the adventure and keeps the suspense building until the final unexpected reveal. Recommended.jfe16
