Don't waste your money!!
I've bought this 4 times for my son. The last time was Dec 2015 and 1 month later, the mic stopped working. My son could hear his friends but they can't hear him. Walmart was nice enough to replace it in January. Today, mic stopped working again!! It has a short working span. Now looking to invest in a good one. Microsoft should replace this for free or come up with better ones. Too bad the headset for the Xbox 360 doesn't work for the Xbox one.

    Don't waste you money
    I bought this over a year ago and then a couple of months the wire busted. Now every single time I go to use it I have to bend the wire and put a bobby pin on it to make my mic work. By the way, it takes at least half an hour to make it work!!! I would just go and buy an expensive one that will last you longer

    They send me a cheaper version and says you can return it at Walmart store and Walmart says no. Not happy at all learn how to read part numbers before shipping!

    Uncomfortable
    The ear pad is too firm. It is uncomfortable against my son's ear. He has placed a cotton ball on the flex arm to pull off some pressure

    Listen up confused parents.
    I'm a teen who's been gaming for over 10 years. YES, this is the mic that comes with the Xbox One, as the picture states. I love this headset because it has the sensitivity of a high grade headset with the comfort of a simple dainty one. People can hear you even if you whisper (in case you don't want to disturb the household) and yeah it won't last you 10 years sorry that's why it's ONLY $25 bro. Think about the times your kid carelessly throws down that headset due to gamer rage or being lazy not wanting to do chores causing it to be faulty instead of complaining where it isn't factual. If it gets tossed around without a care in the world it will last 1-5 months. If your kid is careful and GRATEFUL FOR THEIR BELONGINGS, it will last 1-2 years. YOU'RE WELCOME ✌
