Love The Spray
I have been a long time user of all Minwax products. The stains, polyurethanes, including Polycrylic and wipe on poly. I started using the spray polyurethane on several small projects a few years ago and I absolutely love it. If you follow the instructions and do several light coats 2 hours apart, it will give you a professional looking finish on all wooden surfaces. I've used the satin, semi gloss and the gloss. I haven't been disappointed yet. I love the way the spray nozzle turns to spray horizontally and vertically. I have had no problems with the nozzle clogging, even after storing cans for several months. I am a fan of all Minwax products and I plan on using them for many years to come.

This stuff is a nightmare!
I am trying to use this on a guitar and that is nothing but a mistake. First off do not try to hang the guitar because this product will run no matter how thin you put it on. Second sometimes it goes on good, sometimes it doesn't. It's very inconsistent. Third if you lay your project flat the polyurethane seems to separate and make it look like orange peel. I am hoping after it cures I'll be able to buff and wax it to make it look some what good. I am super disappointed with this product. I do not recommend using it.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/07/2022Deer head live edge coffee tableMy boyfriend used Minwax Polyurethane spray after using another product on a project, and he really noticed the difference. So when it came to my Dearhead Coffee Table project for me, He didn't think twice! The results of the Satin finish brought a low shimmering luster, enhancing the beauty of the walnutPJWalk26

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/19/2022Very disappointedI specifically order this product in clear semi gloss finish but instead received warm semi gloss. The box it was delivered in was wet and smelt like the product was leaking. When I opened the box, the product can was damaged and looked like it had been thrown around. Very disappointed.1234

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/03/2022Works very well..I have used varied minwax products....from oil to water. Reading comments, I can only think they either put too much on, didn't prep surface, or rushed. Products are durable and have not had any one send a piece back from either the coat or stain failure. Most of the time, letting stuff just dry is a critical component.Adam

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/03/2021Easy to get good resultsI'm a fan of this product. I put on a coat, lightly sanded with 220 grit then put on a second coat and it is very good, nearly perfect. As others have stated, the odor is fairly obnoxious, especially the first coat on bare wood. My project is out in my shop so that's not an issue. It takes about a week to disappear. The spray can product is worse, might take two weeks. I can see coating an entire floor in a bedroom you may need a gas mask. The first night I could smell it from outside my shop after the doors were closed within about 10 feet. If this is an issue for you Minwax makes a water based Polycrylic which is almost odor free but I find it a bit more difficult to get good results especially on pine. The polyurethane is simpler to use in my experience.DaveLS

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/27/2020As advertisedI don't know what the bad reviews are for when it's obviously operator failure, glass finish and depth galore... Haven't even buffed it, I did it 12 hours ago and looks like this!Grandpapp
