poor quality control
Disappointed and a bit upset. Ordered 2 oil filters, one for now and one for the next oil change. Opened the first oil filter box, was not a Mobil 1 filter; instead, some off brand I didn't recognize and clearly a lesser quality filter.

    Make sure you check to see if the filter inside matches the part %23 on the box! I wasn't able to use as someone had switched it out. Now I have to make another trip to return it.

    Give it a whirl
    First time using Mobil oil filters, so can't really say if its good or bad until I cut one open. no problem with it leaking so far, like I've had others do from different brands.

    Currently made is USA again.
    Best filter for the money and Walmart has it. Amazon pricing does not compare to Walmart when it comes to oil filters and motor oil. Delivery to the house was next day at no additional charge.

    Wrong thread counterfeit
    I'm guessing there is a whole batch of these that I can only assume are counterfeit. The stickers match but body and thread are the wrong size.

    Would give it a 0 if I could. The filter was the incorrect size. The threaded hole was way too small and would not thread on. I was replacing a M1-113A with a new one. There was a difference I didn't notice until I had already removed my old filter and attempted to install the new one.

    M1-113A manufacturer error
    Watch out. Opening is too small. It will not fit. Used Mobil 1 oil filters before from Oriellys M1-113A and they fit just fine. This one from Walmart doesn't fit. I guess Mobil 1 made a bad batch. Been changing oil for over 35 years and this is the first time I'd seen a manufacturing error. Walmart better pull M1-113A off the self. Not worth the time and effort to go return it. I filled it with new motor oil already.

    Wrong filter inside the box
    Ordered online. Got shipped to home. Opened a box and it was wrong filter. DIFFERENT Brent. So, the box was correct but filter from different Brent and without even protective film.

    different filter elements same part number
    bought 5 filters , last one the Filter elements change , it didnt fit for my 09 escalade end up reusing the old one (same part number)

    These are the BEST oil filters you can buy and much more reasonably priced than other premium filters. I have used them for years.
