Status 2.2 better than XR-75
This new Status 2.2 exists beside a 12-year-old XR-75. LIKE the dual-suspension, full-rigid-triangle main frame with full-length seat tube made possible by the rocker arm suspension. Also LIKE the forks dropouts with front wheel axle in front of the fork - steers more like a bicycle. The frame tubes have a larger diameter adding a little weight. This old man likes the soft-tail for street riding: DON'T LIKE the large diameter, knobby dirt tires. Tires can be replaced. XR-75 to Status 2.2 has good continuity to the bike riding experience.
