Great monitor for the price
Couldn?t find another widescreen monitor with this feature set at this price. Using it for a dual laptop setup for WFH, and it?s easy enough to switch between the two. Picture quality and refresh are solid for my use. I wish the light in the back could change or at least not be red. But the good news is you can just turn it off.

Bought this during the early black friday deal, so it sat til my kid took it to her dorm room Jan. 3.
Monitor is defective, the display is garbled and flickering. Tried different devices and DP/HDMI cables. Outside of the return period so we have to do an RMA, pretty disappointed in Monoprice.

I bought it to use it as a second monitor with my laptop and it's awesome. I mainly use it for 3d modeling and love the extra space compared to a regular QHD monitor. 5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/28/2021Very nice monitorI am not using this for gaming, so I cannot address issues with refresh rate or other time-sensitive requirements. I use this for software development and the extra real estate is a huge factor for me. I can dock two windows next to each other (for comparisons or copy/paste), have a wide excel sheet, see multiple SQL queries displayed at once, or just a bunch of different windows. This is so much nicer than having two monitors next to each other. The colors look good to me and no dead pixels. Refresh rate is good. The only issue I have is that it will not work reliably with my HDMI KVM switch. It might work if I use a DisplayPort KVM. That isn't a big deal, though. It would have been a nice bonus. I use it with a second monitor (2560x1440) that was my old monitor. It sits next this one and pretty much creates a set of monitors that fills my vision when working. My eyes will probably suffer in the long run, but I'm having a good time with it right now. All in all, I would recommend this monitor, especially when it is on sale.MattT

So I bought two monitors to try it out - one flat and one curved. After using them for a few weeks, I definitely like the it! The extra screen size is great. I much preferred this curved monitor from Monoprice over the flat one. The curve took a day to adjust to, but after that I don't notice it anymore. I haven't used it long enough to validate the claims that curved reduces eye strain while doing work. But it might be true? What I do know is that the curved is unparalleled for gaming immersion. Highly recommend! The stand that comes with it is good, but I did end up buying a separate monitor arm for even more control. Due to the size, stands for monitors this size have to be bigger and take up more desk space. I liked the Monoprice v-shaped stand design, seemed to give stability while leaving room for keyboard and mouse. Still, for a small desk the stand might be a tight fit. I've used Monoprice monitors for years. Always been impressed by the quality for the price. Great to be able to buy them through Walmart. Fast shipping. Returns are easy. Low risk and high reward. If you're thinking about going ultra wide, this is one of the best at this price point.Chris
