Does not fit
IPhone 4 and iPod Gen 4 supposedly are the same size. This Morphie is 1/4 inch too long if 10-pin connector is plugged in. I would recommend it for a smart device of the correct size.

    mophie juice pack air made for iPhone 4S/4, Black
    I have had this mophie juice pack for about three weeks. It has a nice sleek feel and doesn't add too much weight or size to the 4s iPhone. The power cord is supplied and will plug into you iPhone charger USB. The speakers work better with the mophie juice pack, I think it's because they are located on the front of the mophie. Now as far as keeping your phone charged, it's great. I leave the charging feature on all the time and my iPhone stays charged at 100% for 24 hours. The mophie has a charging indicator at the bottom of the case and if you press the button on the bottom the light indicator will show the charge level. I do recharge my mophie every night and it has kept my iPhone charged at a 100% for 24 hours for the past three weeks. I recommend keeping the mophie on all the time and let that deplete first and then it will change over to the iPhone battery power. The power supply will charge the mophie and your iPhone at the same time. I'm very happy with this purchase.

    Was hoping it would be better
    My wife has a Mophie for the iPhone 5 and it basically doubles her battery life. I was hoping for something comparable from this product for my iPhone 4S, but it only increases my battery life by about a third. That's OK, but I'd hoped for more. The other thing I do like is that it charges with a standard USB cable.

    A protective case that recharges your phone
    While its wonderful to have a backUp to your phone battery , this juice pack feels nice to the touch, and its protective. I love this product.
