Good quality
Good quality, easy to fill, I like the bright color. It is very sturdy. Have had it filled with thistle seed and hanging up for a little over a week now. It has not attracted any birds yet, but it is still early in the season. Looks very nice hanging in front of my window!

Metal, Sturdy/Durable, Small Seeds
This bird feeder is metal, seems to be pretty sturdy, and works with smaller seeds. I've used this bird feeder for a few days now and it has held up well so far. I do see a potential for rust because it is metal, but no indications just yet. The first couple of days were sunny and the past 2-3 days have been rainy. I haven't seen any birds (or squirrels) using the feeder, but I'm sure it's because of the location. There are directions on how to place the feeder in different locations to eventually get the birds to come to a viewing location rather than brush. We have ours hanging from a branch of an Oak tree that is next to other trees and such, but not very hidden from predators. I plan to leave it here for a few more days just to see what happens with the feeder and animals. I am also interested to see if the seeds will sprout from the rain and heat and see if the animals will come then. I used the recommended smaller seeds for this feeder and it holds them well while also letting a few drop into the tray at the bottom for easy munching. The feeder opens by twisting it so that is pretty easy and then you just dump your seeds in and twist it closed again. I say that this is sturdy/durable because the feel is heavier than I expected, but also because my two-year-old put it to the test. He got it before I could hang it up and decided to try to get the seeds out by slinging it around and banging it into wooden fence posts and bricks. I didn't see a single dent afterwards. On a side note, it also looks like a cricket container like the ones you take fishing. Overall, I recommend this product.

    FINCH BUFFET
The More Birds® Screen Finch Feeder, is a highly visible, well made feeder. Even with the abundance of natural food sources everywhere, they are still coming to the bright yellow feeder. The feeder was hanging a few days before the birds noticed and they have not stopped since. They cling to the sides and sit on the bottom lip. I Used Thistle Seed Wild Bird Food, seed waste seems to be minimal even though bottom tray is small.

    Birds LOVE this feeder!
It's almost my favorite time of the year when I love to sit outside on my porch and watch all the beautiful birds fly so gracefully through the sky. It just brings me so much peace of mind and is so relaxing. That's why I am absolutely thrilled and could not wait any longer to put out my new Finch Screen Bird Feeder from More Birds®! I love that this feeder attracts so many birds - especially finches which is what I really wanted to see. Finches come in every color of the rainbow and their rich, bold colors makes for such an amazing sight to see. I can literally spend hours just watching them and never tire of seeing these stunning creatures. I'm so fond of this particular bird feeder for so many reasons including because it is specifically designed to attract all the many varieties of finches - both the "clingers" or the finches that cling to the wire mesh screen to feed and the birds that prefer to perch on the feeder tray to eat. And the overhanging roof on top of this feeder is perfect because the birds love the feeling of protection it provides. The metal roof keeps them safer from everything including predators to bad weather. This feeder holds up to 1.61 lbs. of bird feed allowing the opportunity for many birds to be able to all eat at one time. What a spectacular sight that is to see so many birds all coming together to feed and interact with one another all at one time. Since the wire mesh screen attracts all varieties of "clinger" finches, it's also so important to make sure their feed remains dry because they will not eat soggy, damp feed. This Finch Screen Feeeder is excellent at keeping their feed dry because it comes equipped with handy built-in drainage holes at the base. The mesh screen is ideal for feeds with smaller kernels like Thistle Seed or Finch Blend. And the simple to twist lock on the top and bottom of the feeder makes for easy and mess-free cleaning and filling. The large ring on the very top of the feeder makes it perfect for hanging anywhere you want. This is a high quality, extremely durable, metal/mesh screen bird feeder that will easily outlast any cheaper, plastic feeders by miles. Plus it's truly one of the nicer bird feeders that I've seen. The vibrant yellow color looks so pretty hanging on my porch and the birds seem to love this feeder as much as I do! Highly reccommended!

More Birds Finch Screen Bird Feeder, Metal Screen
If you love to feed and watch birds, this is the feeder for you. I got this feeder during the winter months and it has kept my wild birds fed! As Spring approaches, I cannot wait to see how many beautiful Spring and Summer birds that arrive to feed. It is easy to fill and is durably made. It survives all temperatures without fading, pealing nor rusting. You can not only use thistle seed, you can use any small type of of small bird seed. I will highly recommend it to friends and family.

    Best bird feed ever!
I just received my new bird feeder and it is awesome! The bird feeder is easy to twist/lock to clean and refill with food. This feeder has drainage holes that help the seed stay fresh and dry. So far, I've seen a lot of beautiful birds eating from my new feeder. I love the different finch birds and cardinals that come eat from it. I would highly recommend this feeder.

    Colorful feeder
This is a very pretty bird feeder it's strong and durable as it is made out of metal I have a problem with squirrels and so far they have left this one alone It holds one pound of bird seed/thistle seed and has a protective metal dome on top This prevents the seeds from getting wet

    Very specific type of feeder
Great feeder. Extremely sturdy, base and top are metal not plastic, sturdy ring to hang it from. It'll definitely withstand the elements. I do think it's important to note this is a very specific type of feeder - the birds have to get the seed THROUGH the mesh, there's no spillway at the bottom. I've included a picture of the type of seed you need to get for this feeder (can't get big seed like sunflower seeds) hope that helps you!!

Holds a lot of Seed and Made Well
I am doing a review today on the More Birds Finch Screen Bird Feeder. It's 13.5" tall x 6" wide x 6" wide. The lid to it is a very bright yellow and the base is also the same color. The mesh between the top and the base is black. You can feed this feeder from the top or bottom. The top and bottom unscrew very easily. There are holes in the base so if it rains the water can drain easily. The holes are big enough it will drain fast. It can hold 1.6 pounds of thistle seed. I put some wild bird seed into it that I bought from Walmart. I wanted to attract a lot of different birds. We have woodpeckers, cardinals, robins, finches, and more in my place. I put it high enough off of the ground so the kids in the neighborhood will leave it alone. I saw a lot of birds in this tree last year. That is why I put it in this tree. I have only had it up for a week so I have not seen any birds at it yet. But it is still cold outside. I don't see any birds right now. When it gets warmer I'm sure they will find it. Maybe a half of a teaspoon of seeds fell through the mesh while I was placing it in the tree. The birds can sit on the base and pull the seeds out of the mesh easily. It has a very large hanging ring to attach to anything. The top and base are made out of very thick plastic so it will not rust from the elements outside. The opening to fill the seeds is very wide so it fills very easily. I used a cup to fill it. It is made very well. I placed it outside of my living room window to enjoy the birds. I highly recommend this feeder.

    Excellent Finch Feeder
I feed birds year-round. I am delighted with the More Birds Finch Screen Feeder. I have gone through a number of finch feeders, as they can be delicate and are easily worn out by constantly refilling and cleaning them. My feeders attract a lot of birds, so I needed something strong, and this feeder fills the bill. It is made with both a twist lock top and bottom to assist in cleaning and filling, making both tasks very simple. It has a sturdy ring on top and can be hung from a standard hook. I love attracting golden finches in the spring and summer, and this will hold a lot of birds. It has a circular perch for perching birds as well as as the screen, so clinging birds will also be attracted to it. It comes with instructions on proper cleaning (which is easy). The base of the feeder has drainage holes to help keep seed dry. Can use Nyjer/thistle or finch blend seed. Holds up to 1.3 qt/1.6 lb seed.
