Bad color on monitor
The monitor we got looked like it had been used when we took it out of the box. The colors were not showing correctly on the monitor... black, blue, and purple were showing as the same color blue. I don't know about other colors.

    Don't get it! Put the money towards a better one
    Worked for 5 months. The “Parent Unit” quit working randomly one day after powering it off after my sons nap and wouldn't turn on. The customer service agents are THE WORST! I've been trying for nearly a week to get a replacement and they just keep telling me to try the same steps.

    Great.. only downfall is the battery life.
    The battery life of the handheld device is absolutely awful! It'll last about 45 mins to 1 hour when it's fully charged. Haven't been able to connect the monitor to my phone yet. Other than that, it is a great monitor. I don't know how moms did it without the video cam!!

    Creepy!! Do NOT buy
    We purchased this to monitor our daughters epilepsy at night. At first the camera worked well at night, but the sound is horrible! On high, we could barely our two girls in the room talking. We could never hear her rolling over either, which made it pointless for our purposes. This morning, I thought she was sound asleep, however, as you can see in the pic, she is wide awake and holding the monitor that shows her sleeping. This is obviously junk and can't be trusted!

    Had potential
    I really thought it would be great since it was Motorola, but the picture wasn't very good and the sound lagged so badly. When I tried to talk to the baby it was very choppy. I also disliked I couldn't move where I zoomed in. The app had potential as well, but it took forever to load. I went with vtech after this and it is so much better.

    Baby Monitor
    Received this monitor as a gift. I was excited to use it but it had more downs then ups. First the camera is always in black and white only way it shows color is if i shine a light on it and it only last a few seconds before turning black and white again. Sound is ok sometimes. The light on the camera is bright had to put tape over it. And also if you use the app which was what i was looking for in a monitor you have to pay a monthly subscription which is very annoying especially since the app is very slow. The app only does like screenshots barely from 12 hours before when ever there is movement. App should at least have video recording for the same day but no you would have to pay for that. Wouldn't recommend especially for the price it should work better.

    App does not work
    We bought this because it has the actual handgeld monitor and also an app based monitor HOWEVER; if this is your sole reason for buying this product.. DO NOT buy this. I give this 4 stars because althought the app RARELY works, it does what it supposed to. Displays your baby on decent camera quality. The light on the camera is a little too bright so i put painters tape over it and its tolerable now. Also, the lowest volume is still very loud so if you dont like alot of noise in your bedroom id put tape over the speaker as well ans raise it up one notch. The app rarely ever works so dont let that reason convince you, you need it for this exact reason. When it does work, it takes so long to connect, i literally can get upstairs to the handheld monitor faster than the app will load. Overall its an okay monitor. Not sure if it was worth $100 though.
