Easy to install. Simple to use.
This is going to be a short-term pay-off. We had been spending over $120 a year, renting one from the local cable TV/Internet provider! We should have purchased the cable modem five years ago to save some $600!

I asked for a device modem for internet service in my home...it turns out this model only connects 1 device and you need another item even to make it work. I returned it and the store wasn't nice about it. Also the website wouldn't give me the number to use to return it. I am still waiting for this site to update my account and refund the item.

    good value. Easy to plug and ready for use. Problem was with the carrier. They have to approve of the installation, collect all the right numbers and declare the unit will work on their system. That part took about an hour. Not the units fault just the carrier.

    Good unit for the price / value.
    Price is good, speed is good. Instructions leave a lot to be desired, as usual with tech stuff these days. Downloading Cox at 180, what more do you want?

    Love my Motorola modem! I recently replaced my whole set up because of frequent and frustrating connection drops. (The problem turned out to be the mechanism inside the cable, which connects to the modem, was coming loose. The cable was connected, but inside the cable it was loose at the connection.) I'm glad I did. I chose Motorola because even with the undiagnosed cable problem, the Motorola router was wonderful. It still dropped, but not as often and the connection came back quicker. I'll definitely be sticking with Motorola.

    Easy hookup. Just have to call your cable provider and give them a number of the modem. They have to enter the number before it is activated.
