    No frills finch feeder. The birds love it!
    I had been seeing finches in my neighborhood this spring so picked up this feeder at my local Walmart. I like the no-frills packaging (though there was a small piece of unrecyclable plastic) and simple design. The birds seem to like it too! It only took about 3 days, and now I'm getting daily visits from gold finches and house finches. However, this feeder's capacity is fairly small and it only feeds 2 birds at a time. I may attempt to make a second set of perches by adding a small dowel and poking a couple more feeding holes higher up.

    No takers - after a month
    No takers. I guess I have to take the seed out and put in another feeder. It has been out for over a month. I have plenty of finches st my regular feeder.

    Finches love it, refillable
    This allows only two finches at a time so we have two or more depending on the season, in the Spring we put out more plus sock feeders for the Goldfinches. These are easily refillable and Walmart sells 2 sizes of thistle seed bags. The only issue is the seed at the bottom might get moldy after heavy rains so we clean them when needed which is also easy.
