Chemical Taste Imparted by Stirrer Ruins Product
This product has a couple of shortcomings--small quantity size 3-4 half-pints (3 being usual in two batches) but you know that in advance. But the "plastic" taste imparted by the stirrer will not go away after canning. Washing stirrer in hot, soapy water didn't fix this issue. Have to throw the 6 jars made out. Had to return product to WMT which I regretted since it is fun for a small batch of quick, trouble-free jam.
