Great for breastfed baby
My daughter is a breastfed baby, so it's important for me to make her occasional bottles as smooth a transition as possible. The nipples are my favorite thing about the LATCH bottles. I love how the bottom is sort of accordion shaped, which makes it stretch more like an actual breast. The stage 2 seems to match her speed much better now that she's three months old. I have washed these in the top rack of my dishwasher, and they seem to hold up well without becoming cloudy or discolored. I'm glad they make products that can grow with my baby!

Good design
I really liked the flexibility of this nipple. My daughter is breastfed except while I am at work and I think the way the nipple was designed very effectively mimics that of a mother's nipple. Not only does it move side to side but it extends forward and backward. I've noticed that her latch on this bottle is very similar to when she nurses.

    Helps Transition from Breast to Bottle
    My daughter drinks from these way better than any other nipple. I see such a difference in how she takes to these over other brands. The stretch in the design is made specifically for the transition from breast to bottle and when we were supplementing, she definitely drank out of these way better and it would go so much smoother. My daughter is 10.5 months and the Stage 2 Nipples are perfect for our needs! Thank you to Munchkin for sending me these samples free in order to write an honest review. While they were free, it didn't affect how much we continue to love Munchkin products and how well these fit into our life!

    Similar to breast
    LOVE IT! I try to breastfeed 100% but, with 2 other kids to care for, it is not always possible... I was using Dr Browns but whenever I put him back on the breast, he would make the "fish lips", trying to get just the nipple.. It has been really hard to convince the baby to open wide on the breast.. SO, I tried this bottle because I got to try it in exchange for my review, and it helped a lot! Because it has a BIG nipple, that goes to the back of his throat and it is WIDE like the breast, he has to open his mouth really wide to drink it... So when I put him back on the breast, it is usually a good latch. I am not sure the valve thing works as good as the Dr Brow ones, as I do hear him sucking some air when the milk gets low down to the nipple... but, I gotta pick my battles and the latch is DEFINITELY better using this bottle.

    Great nipple for breastfed babies
    I exclusively breastfed, but for months had struggled with getting my son, who is now 9 months old, to take a bottle in case I had to leave him with my husband. I tried the Latch bottle with the Latch stage 2 nipple, surprisingly, my son took the bottle immediately after I gave it to him! The nipple is more like the shape of a breast than any other bottle I've tried, and is flexible. The nipple doesn't leak with the top on the bottle, like most do. This nipple best mimics shape/function of a breast, and clearly works when transitioning the baby to a bottle.

    Great Nipple Step
    These are a fantastic step up from the Stage 1 nipples with a faster flow for baby and the same quality as stage 1. The nipples are one of the main things that make these bottles perfect for breastfeeding babies - like mine. He was able to switch from breast to bottle with no problem

    These nipples are great for an older baby. My son needed to switch around 5 months because he was upset the milk wasn't coming out fast enough with a stage 1 nipple that comes with the bottle. These were faster but never made him gag, huge plus!

    Best Nipples
    I got a stage 2 for my 1 month old because I have a fast let down, the stage one was coming out way to slow for her. The stage two nipples were perfect for her and allow her to transition from breast to bottle with ease. These nipples are most like the breast.

    Great for 6 month old EBF baby
    My son is almost 6 months old and has been exclusively breastfed, only receiving a bottle a few times. We tried the Munchkin LATCH bottle with him and he did really well with it! At first he tried to chew on it but once he realized there was milk involved he started sucking and making "mmm-mmm" noises. I have a very forceful letdown and so he got frustrated after a short time with the size 1 nipple that comes with the bottle but after I switched to the size 2 and he did much better. The way the nipple is able to flex and move with baby makes it much more like breastfeeding. (I received this product in exchange for my review and honest opinion.)

    Fine for 6 months+
    I have been using the stage 2 nipple with my 7 month old breastfed son for over a month now. No problems at all and he refuses most bottles. The flow doesn't seem to be too fast or slow and I generally have a pretty fast let down. These nipples are easy to switch out of the bottles, easy to clean, and aren't wearing down at all after a month of using and washing them. My son latches no problem and has never had issues with extra gas or spit up.
