DO NOT BUY
Defective! This has not worked from the very beginning of my purchase. It constantly buffers any time I am streaming and drops connection. I have business class internet and use voice over IP for my work and am taking calls all day while navigating different screens on 2 different monitors. Slow connection, poor upload speed and it is not the ISP connection either. It is this hardware. DO NOT BUY! Spend the money and buy a better one!

    Acceptable modem for particular need
    The modem did NOT have a VOIP telephone jack to work on the Optimum cable system that was recently installed at my home. I needed that feature..... Believe the other parts of the modem worked just fine.

    I ordered the wrong product
    I'm sure this product will work fine but I needed a modem router, not just a modem, to replace the Netgear product I purchased 4 years ago. Apparently they don't last long. Unlike most Walmart online purchases, this took weeks to arrive, due no doubt to the ongoing supply chain issues. Netgear is a good product but the same product I purchased 4 years ago is about 3x the price of the last one. Yow.

    Somewhat frustrating.
    Great unit but somewhat difficult to establish connection with provider. Apparently some numbers were printed wrong on the unit and four phone calls (long) were needed to establish finally, the connection.

    I bought this modem 6 months ago in the clearance, its DOCSIS 3.0 which is not the latest DOCSIS version, but it worked with Spectrum for me. No functional issues observed so far except that modem tends to heat more than the other modems!

    Simple Setup
    Quick and easy setup. I already have a separate router so I just purchased the modem. I have Xfinity and this model is compatible. Connect the power source to the modem. Connect the coaxial cable to the modem. From the Xfinity mobile app, I activated the modem. I connected a ethernet cable to my personal laptop and within a few minutes, I had internet access.

    Does not work with Spectrum
    Falsely advertised at this item work with spectrum Internet. IT DOES NOT. Had to return it. I definitely do NOT recommend this product!
