Big boost for such a little gadget.
Was skeptical that this would help "boost" signal in my home (3500sqft). It works great - and thanks to this little gadget, I am now a wifi super hero to my teen! Signal is now strong enough to reach my back porch, the driveway on the opposite side of the house. Excellent purchase.

constantly have to reset it
this thing has to be reset every other week, it just quits giving a signal... when it's working it does the job just fine.

    THE ITEM HAS BEEN DROPPED OFF AT A FED EX DEPOT TO BE RETURNEDON 4/8/23- THIS MORNING. I WAS TOLD IT WOULD NOT BE P/U BY THE FED EX UNTIL MONDAY 10TH OF APRIL. PLEASE NOTE OF THIS ON THE FILE AND PROCESS MY CREDIT. EQUIP FAULTY WOULD NOT CONNECT TO MY EQUIP AFTER SEVERAL TRIES. DEVOTED CUST.

    Didn't extend my range.
    Was fairly easy to set up but it provided no extra range. I was attempting to install a wireless camera but I could put the camera no further away than when I used my existing wifi. There may be situations where this may work but it wasn't helpful for me.

    item did not work.
    I purchased this to give me a stronger connection to the facility internet. my closest outlet to the internet connection is about 20 to 25 ft and it did not find the router. therefore it did not work. sadly disappointed.

    My router is downstairs in a 3200 SqFt house. The upstairs bedrooms were pulling a very week signal, after a quick and easy set up I was able to boost the furthest bedroom internet speeds from 5mbps (very slow) to 70 mbps (fast). It made for some happy teenagers! Quick 1 day shipping and very reasonable price for the speed increase!

    Eh.
    I gave 2 stars bc like others have stated set up is ridiculous. I have spectrum, so maybe the synch just isn't compatible though my router has WPS button the two would not connect. I used the netgear genie and it connected then I had to reboot router and it connected better then the extender was on and off line all day. I am not going to reboot my router on the reg to get this thing to connect--maybe. I am returning it. I also will add when it was connected, the extension wasn't really anything to write home about. Perhaps that is bc my building is brick??? Long story short I tried, doesn't do what I need, so back it goes. No biggie.

    My AC750 WiFi Range Extender was easy to install and, in just a few minutes. Since that time I have noticed my speed appears to be much faster and range further than previously.

    If you have a powerful modem router, you may not need this WiFi extender. I replaced my old modem router, which needed a WiFi extender to provide adequate signal to areas of the house farthest from it, with a new Nighthawk modem router, assuming it also would need an extender. So, I bought this wall plug extender (which is great because you don't need to run an Ethernet cable to it like the old extenders). But after installing the modem router and this new extender, I checked signal at the farthest point from the modem router and found that the modem router actually provided stronger signal than the extender. But it could be very useful and hassle-free for a very large house.

    Get help.
    Not hooked up yet. I'm a reasonably computer literate 80 year old but distinction between WPS and WEP network is not intuitive or explained. Make sure you have an 11 year old or an engineer near at hand. Remember when you know it is easy and when you do not it is much harder and then when you are really confused it can be a mess.
