Exceeded our expectations!
Because this was going into an all metal shop several feet away from the house ... and router ... we were worried it might not get the job done like one way more expensive would. However, we placed it near a window and it worked perfectly. We are very happy with our decision.

Wait for a better option
Spent 5 hours trying to get this to work with our Xfinity wireless system... Im not a newbie.... downloaded their Nighthawk app.. tried that first ..several times.. tried factory reset and manual install.. all failed.. ..taking it back..... no systems ever connected.. very disapointed...

    Works as advertised
    Needed a range extender for the new doorbell camera. Checked reviews and this one looked good. Easy to setup. Great wifi connection. House lost power; when electricity came back on, it re-booted itself, connected with the wifi and resumed working - I didn't have to do anything!

    Very difficult to set up. The device has not improved service to the weak reception in parts of our house. In fact we've disconnected it because it interferes with regular reception functions that usually work through out the house.

    Not very effective
    The booster was not very effective for me in increasing the range of my wifi. Could have been attributed to the weird layout of my house, so am not exactly sure

    Delivered by 3rd party, sinking, and beat.
    This isn't a review on the product ,but the terrible service I received. I don't know how the WiFi extender works because I never was able to use it. The Netgear WiFi extender was delivered to my house by what I was told "A 3rd party". When I opened the bag I was hit with a overwhelming stench of cigarette smoke. I will not buy from eBay if the seller is a smoker. The top of the box looked like it had been spun by the plastic tag. The box was open on one side and if I had to guess this was a return. I went to my local store in time to speak to the right person who worked until 8 pm only to be told they left at 6 pm. So , WiFi upstairs, and I have to go through it all again in the morning. My replacement won't be here until monday.

    Improved range and speed
    I wanted to test it a while before I gave the review it absolutely has boosted the range I'm able to take my tablet out into the backyard and work with it and my buffering on my Roku has improved absolutely would recommend it to somebody

    Excellent product
    I always had issues with deadspots with my internet service. This extender works perfectly. I have service in the garage and also in my in-law apartment. I would recommend this product.
