Love this extender
We've had this for a little over 2 weeks and we are absolutely happy with the performance. It was easy to set up. It literally took less than 5 minutes. It significantly boosted the performance of our WiFi. We consistently see 250 mbps from our wireless devices. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Not happy.
The extender would show I'm connected to the WIFI but the internet would not load. I tried to reinstall it several times and I got the same result. I returned this a few days after buying and I just bought a better router.

    Does the job well
    We live out in the country far from any broadband except a hot-spotted cellular signal that had trouble reaching anywhere in our house more than 20 feet from our hot spot modem. The Netgear mesh Wi-Fi extender boosted that signal so we get 5 bars of Wi-Fi and the full cell signal in every room of our 2500 sq ft house and out to the barn, so to speak. Our neighbor's chickens could probably even pick it up. Does the job well!

    Acceptable Wi-Fi Extender for Home
    Selected the Netgear WiFi Mesh Extender after a good experience with a Mesh System set up for our house of worship. Set-up was a bit wonky, but was able to set it up not using the WPS button. One issue is the problem with us folks who have red-green color weakness. Hard to tell whether the LED indicator showed best, good, or poor connection. Has worked well since then.

    It was…fine…
    I pay for gig internet - hardwired cat 6 cables will get me 960 on a mac mini, lenovo laptop. This mesh extender only got me 360-420 mbps max, with every configuration possible tried and exhausted over and over again. Ended up returning it and hardwiring Cat6's thru all my walls.

    Range extender
    Bought this as only a range extender. Works as expected on my Xfinity/Comcast home internet arrangement. The only downside is that the device came with no instructions; instructions were easily found on the internet.

    NOT WORKING AT ALL
    This product does not even pop up on my network to access the settings. I have reset it 100 times and keep trying when it finally sows up on the my network list, I do the whole set up but it stopped after this step. Then disconnects and stops working, and does not show up on the network preferences again. This is so frustrating. Tried the WPS button, with ethernet cable. Just disappointed. I had such high hopes.

    Used the Netgear 7000EX with the Netgear Nighthawk 8000 to solve the problems I was having with full coverage across my home and out buildings. Found them both to be quick and very easy to setup. Very good solution for the problems with dead stops.
