This thing is a beast!
This router is awesome! I replaced the router my ISP had given me with the nighthawk. What a difference I can get a full WiFi signal anywhere in my house also in the back/front yard a big plus, considering I have arlo cameras and a ring doorbell. The 5G is amazing if you are streaming 4K over Netflix. Range is not as impressive so you will want the router closer to anything you would want to connect over 5G but it still beats the original router. Don't expect this to increase your internet speed anything over what you are paying for from your provider, if you were like me and using their equipment they provide and usually charge you for each month more than likely it's going to cause a bottle neck as far as speed goes. I attached some speed tests before and after you can see the nighthawk performs much better. Easy set up has an app that helps you get everything set up and updated. Overall this thing is full of power I would recommend it to anyone looking to get a better WiFi distance and faster speeds also something that's pretty much plug and play this has a permanent home where my old router used to be. I received this router from Netgear as a part of a test and review program.

All Hassle No Result
I tried two different routers, same make and model and refused to work properly with several devices connected. Product support has long wait times, almost or over an hour each time. Phone calls are not high quality and will hang up on you fast if you take one second too long to respond. They also kept giving me the same type of support answers that got me nowhere and needed to change way too many settings for nothing. Don't waste your time.

    Best router EVER!!
    It goes throughout my whole home with ease and my husband and I can both be playing games, downloading updates, or streaming and not have to worry about interrupting what the other one is doing because we can be on different bands if needed.

    GREAT so Far.
    Our other Netgear purchased in 2019 started to degrade our internet connection. Hooked this one up last week and everything is working a lot better. Wife's Laptop has never been that fast before and no more buffering on TV app connections. Only problem was getting all the Smart TV's switched over to the new WiFi Router, six of them. LoL

    Quick and easy
    I downloaded the Nighthawk app as was suggested and I was very impressed! Getting internet back and running went super smooth after the old one died on us. We didn’t have to re-enter passwords on every device as long as all information was the same. Our speed is great and our streaming hasn’t been this good in quite a while! We are very impressed with the nighthawk so far and look forward to many more great days!

    Easy to install and great signal
    My old netgear was at least 15 years old. With all of the new items pulling on WiFi, sweeper, generator, home cameras, not to mention TVs and computers, printer, we would occasionally lose signal on my old set up. I was dragging my feet thinking install would be a mess. It was easy and I haven’t had any time they we lost signal! I’m very satisfied with my upgrade.

    configuration could have been easier
    Once configured, router works like a champ. Initially could not get to the Advanced Settings screen to change the "Fixed IP" setting to OFF.

    Love it
    I was very pleased with how easy it was to get installed and up and running. The companion application is very nice, I have it up and running also. We had a number of devices running on our old one that caused some to get dropped from the connection. In the three weeks we have had our AC2600 up there have been no issues and it is greatly appreciated thank you.

    Excellent router!
    We were having issues with slow unreliable internet. Updated network cables and added a switch, then pinpointed the issue to our router not being able to handle the faster speeds. Purchased this router and it has made a HUGE difference in our internet speeds. Promises speed up to 2600Mbps which is exactly what we needed.

    It is fast router. Use the yellow cord that comes with it for the internet first. Then if you go buy a longer one switch to it. Believe me this will save you a headache. I just wish customer service was a better with Netgear when I call try to get help. I had to get on YouTube to figure out why it would take so long to get to the internet.

    Incredibly fast!
    Throughout my experience with routers I've learned that not all routers are great quality. Well, honestly, the market is full of routers that aren't even GOOD quality. I stumbled upon this particular model of the nighthawk series by accident. I was and still am pleasantly surprised with the speed and compatibility of this device! The app is extremely maneuverable, I like simple when it comes to app enabled devices. I would honesty give this 11/10 if I could. HIGHLY recommend
