Excellent Purchase.
This was very fast shipping I ordered on December 1st and received it on December 3rd. Very easy to set up and connect to all my devices on my old modem I was only getting 80 now on my new one 98.5 very fast with my internet provider plan. Every elated customer for my new router.

Terrible it's so hard to use and the connection is super unstable with an Ethernet ping says 25 and it's double I connected it to my old router so I'm not sur e

    NOT WORKING AT ALL
    This product does not even pop up on my network to access the settings. I have reset it 100 times and keep trying when it finally sows up on the my network list, I do the whole set up but it stopped after this step. Then disconnects and stops working, and does not show up on the network preferences again. This is so frustrating. Tried the WPS button, with ethernet cable. Just disappointed. I had such high hopes.

    not easy setup
    Not a plug and play for me. Took me lots of time. First called NightGear. First guy (probably not US) not interested, Probably his boss came on line and helped a little. I gave up and waited for next day. Called back and got some more advice, last try before file 13. Advised to get Xfinity to remotely remove a block in their modem. That took time but Xfinity very helpful. Called back to Nextgear and very helpful lady helped me finally get it sorted out and working. Good speed through router 58.7 download. Big improvement from my 4.3 old router. Upload is 5.7 which is not important to me. Just a small loss downloading going through xfinity modem but forgot that number. For what I use it for, it works. Not sure about range but my phone picks the wifi signal up from the road at about 150 ft. so I can open my garage door. Before had to almost get to house and right spot.

    Nighthawk AC1900 arrived with disconnected antenna
    The wireless router arrived with one of the antenna popped out of it's socket. I pushed it back in and configured the router which seems to be working OK. However, I only get 300Mb wireless on 5G while I get 600Mb+ hardwired. I'll check with support today to see if the antenna might be an issue.

    great product, but did not last as long as expecte
    I bought this router about 4 years ago when i first got gigabit internet. The router worked great, and all the setting/readycloud were fairly easy to use and understand. I do a lot of game server hosting, and port forwarding with it was never an issue. however, about 3 years into owning it the 5GHz antenna died. it would constantly drop connection and signal, and slowly deteriorated until 5g was useless, and even turned off. (and yes i updated to newest firmware, factory reset and everything else i could think of. this is unfortunately not a very uncommon issue.) I was disappointed, but continued to use just the 2.4GHz band, and had no issues. Until about another year passed; at which point the 2.4g antenna followed the same fate. i had retired it to being an access point not too long ago, but now it can not even handle that. again, great product for the first 3 years. i do not know how common this issue is, but i have seen many people with the same experience. if you plan to replace/upgrade after about 3 years, then it is probably a very good router for you to choose.

    Wonderful upgrade to our home network
    Our ISP supplied us with a Technicolor TG588v modem/router. It had pitiful wifi signal strength anywhere beyond a few feet from the device. Finally grabbed a new Netgear AC1900 and wow, what an improvement. Now I've got great wifi speeds and signal strength even way out in the backyard. The router was very easy to setup. It even downloaded the latest firmware right away to stay current. Very pleased with this Netgear router. Highly recommended.

    The device is good...even for large homes.
    I brought this item several years ago. I had other routers before this router. It is the best one. I purchased for parental controls and range of service - it's better than a service provider unless you want to pay more. The only issue that I have is the clock daylight savings time feature is not work. I had 20 devices on it at one time. Other features are good. Getting the Gear Head Support Warranty is a sound investment.

    Does the job!
    Bought this about a month ago, am very pleased with it's performance. Was easy to set up, doesn't take up a lot of space, provides strong wifi coverage to my home AND yard - which was most important! Capable of supplying multiple devices at the same time with no dropouts of signal. Very satisfied with this purchase!

    Powerful Router!
    I bought this router to replace my Asus RT-N66U and wow, what an improvement! My main goal was to find a router that could reach the wireless gaps in my 3 story home and ad wireless AC. This router did that and in all the areas of my home I get amazing signal. Very pleased and would highly recommend this router to anyone. It was also on sale which was an additional bonus and the delivery was fast.
