Best router for home use!
I have use N routers before but this router covers the entire house, even the garage. My house is a two story house with three bedrooms (1400 sq. ft.). Throughout the entire house, I am acheiving an average 95% signal. Also I have three computers, three phones, tablets, xbox, etc., this router runs them all with no slow downs. This is my first review, this product kicks AAA!

Don't waste your money
I've had this for 8 months & while it did great for the first 6 months it started dropping connection & having to be reset frequently, which was a complete pain while working. Got up this morning & it just went out, no power to it at all. I called net gear for the warranty since it was under a year, wow the other reviewer was right they have a no good replacement policy. First I paid $200 for what ended up being a not worth the purchase router then they want me to pay to ship it back to them and it will take almost 2 weeks to get the replacement to me. Being I run my business from home I cannot possibly last that long without a router. Then they tell me they can get it to me for in 2 days but for $30 of course. so they sell you a worthless product & you have to spend more money to get what they should be sending you for free to make up for you spending a lot of money on one thing that didn't even last. I just purchased another linksys & I'm glad to be back with them, will never purchase netgear again.

    Really works well
While a bit pricey the NETGEAR R6300.v2 router is doing what it said it would. Noticeably faster and the range extends well beyond 300 feet. I am able to pick it up on my phone wifi about three houses further than my old 3700. It has not dropped any connections and enabling the brother printer took one button push on a Mac Network. Happy, happy, happy.

Some what good for everyday use, not for gamers.
I have owned this router for almost a year now, it has great range and you can connect a a lot more devices than you could with any other router. Unfortunately i have had nothing but annoying issues with the router, the port forwarding does not work, extremely high pings while playing games (PC, Xbox, PS3 and etc.), random wireless drops and so on. I have contacted their customer service several times and they can not seem to resolve the issue. So be warned if your a gamer or have kids that are, i don't recommend this router.

    Pretty Good
Pros: Fast! Overdue for an upgrade and when I got it installed was pleased with the wifi and wired speed. Looks nice on top of my NAS. Cons: Big. Looks good in the right location but could easily be an eye-sore if not placed properly. Biggest CON is some of the software is not updated to work with the latest draft standard. I understand it is a draft, but after researching, others offer much better software. Just hope Netgear gets it together quick and stops riding on the "draft" excuse. Summary: Price was a huge negative but I almost always buy the latest technology so I almost expect this, but I also expect better software support. I am usually a Cisco (Linksys) buyer but have seen some good reviews for Netgear of late. Jury is still out but if I would have had the time to wait for a better option, I probably would have stayed with Cisco.

Works Great for Gaming on Xbox
There are less expensive options for basic wireless needs but when using wireless internet for things like Xbox Live, this level of WiFi Routers do make a difference - no more complaints from the kids! It also effortlessly lets multiple devices share the WiFi as well. We also upgraded our cable modem as well which allowed us to get our maximum internet speed from Cox.

    So far so good
I have been a fan of Netgear products for a while. My last three wireless routers have all been Netgear. I swap out my routers every few years in favor or faster routers. I have only been using the R6300 for a few weeks but so far so good. The installation was super easy. I was able to install it, set up my password, establish a guest network and launch it in a matter of about 15 minutes. None of my devices had any problem connecting. The range is awesome. I can be down my driveway and 1.5 houses away before I loose the signal.

    Great Router
This is my 4th try at a router and I have tried all of the top one's Linksys, Belkin etc. I have been trying to find a replacement for my Linksys WRT54GL which in my view was the best wireless router made. I have had this for a few weeks now and I get 5 out of 5 bars everwhere in my 2 story house. I have no problems at all.

    Good but think about it
I got this thinking my internet speed with increase dramatically. Well it did by about 5% but thats it. This replaced a Draft N router that transmitted 150mbps wireless N signal. Now i didnt realize this but you need to get the Wireless AC usb adapter to get the speeds you require so be prepared to buy and additional part. I can imagine having this additional part will get me that 3x the speed that I wanted.
