Awesome upgrade to a old basic coffee maker. For the price you can't beat it. Buy refurbished people!! Half the price for a brand new for sure working item is always a steal.

Sadly disappointed. I liked the look and style.
i purchased this item less than one year ago. The numbers on the display are falling apart, the brew button does not work ,and the seconds button on preset does nothing. The Ninja replaced a cusinart coffee maker that was on its last legs after over 5 years of service. I was hoping for the same from the Ninja but I am very disappointed . I will probably not purchase this item in the future.

    Very Happy! customer
Had Mr.coffee it was ok .Decided to upgrade .So happy chose Nija . Coffee is extra hot. Can make a 4 cup small batch. Also the hot plate does not wear down. Stays looking new! Very pretty, and appealing to look at. Also has cleaning cycle. so glad I did my research on coffee makers. Mr coffee was ok. but this so much better. So I bought a Ninja Air Fryer.

Ninja, what hack happened to you guys?!
One star off for one missing feature my last Ninja had. My last Ninja had a MANUAL drip stop. Now, I already know why they got rid of it, but in my opinion it was a stupid move. They got rid of it because customers must have complained about it. Why? Some previous Ninja coffee makers used a lever to close the drip hole off at the bottom of the brew basket. In other words, YOU had to shut the dripper off if you wanted to pour a cup during the brew process. Since most drip stops are automatic, having to manually stop it is a change in habit most people, including me, find difficult to adjust to. First time I wanted to pause and pour I made a mess all over the counter. Well, having to clean that up, I never made that mistake again. I am betting a lot of other people did not learn so quickly, and started leaving bad reviews and writing the company to complain. I am guessing Ninja replaced the manual drip stop with an automatic one to appease complaining customers. So why did Ninja put a manual drip stop on their previous machines? One simple reason that became easily apparent as soon as I got used to flipping that lever! IT WORKED!!!!!! I have owned a few dozen drip machines over four decades. Only ONE company made an automatic drip stop that actually worked. Norelco used a strong spring that actually STOPPED the drips completely. NO other brewer manufacturer in my experience has EVER made an auto drip stop that actually DID NOT DRIP. Not one. Not even Ninja. If you pull the pot out during brewing, this one drips just like all the rest. Sigh. Back to pretending there is no drip stop, and not pouring until the entire brew cycle is complete. Just like all the other cheap junk coffee makers I have owned. Come on people! The lever actually STOPPED drips! It was one feature that actually made the Ninja BETTER than the rest. All you all had to do was get used to it! One more change they made that was downright stupid. My old Ninja had a pull out brew basket, so I could fill the basket with grounds WITHOUT HAVING TO PULL THE ENTIRE MACHINE OUT FROM UNDER THE CABINET! Now, the brew basket cover is solidly part of the overall structure of the machine, with a FLIP UP cover that cannot be flipped up unless you pull the entire machine out form under the cupboards!! What were you thinking Ninja?! I could have bought a $50 machine that functions just the same! Next time, if they have not yet gone back their innovative ways, Im not going to bother with Ninja. Seems to me they have abandoned the thinking that put them on top to begin with. Now they are just n average coffee machine with a way above average price. Lost: One star for useless auto drip. One star for no more pull out brew basket One star for eliminating features but not lowering the price in exchange for losing good features. Ninja, you can do better than this.

    Works but customer service sucks.
Works fine. I just am angry that it said it came with a filter and a scoop, it came with neither. I sent a message to vendor which was not even given the courtesy of a reply. Guess I'll know better than to buy a remanufactured item from Walmart again, if these are the type of vendors they deal with.
