Super Speeds with Crisp Clear Images
I can not get over how fast my NOKIA 8.3 5G Smart Phone is. This phone is not only pleasingly aesthetic to look at, it is easy and fun to use. The phone's design is thin and sleek with a large, easy to see 6.8" screen. The Polar Night, Northern Lights design is stylish and has sharp colors. I am very demanding on my phone, and have it on all of the time. I was impressed with how quickly it charges and even more impressed that it held a charge for days. My sim card and memory card were easy to install. The sim holder is easy to open and close once installed. I like that if you have two phone lines, this phone is able to hold two sim cards. I however did not use that feature. Once they were installed, I was ready to power on the phone. There is a fingerprint sensor on the side, which is a nice security feature, it also powers your phone on and off. When it came time to set my phone up and transfer files, I was blown away with how quickly the phone was ready to use. After updating the phone, it took less than 5 minutes to transfer everything I needed from my old Android to this Android. All I needed to do was press a couple buttons and wait. I was once again, very impressed. Along with the fingerprint security measure there is also a face recognition or your basic lock code. I went with a four digit pin and the lock code. The great thing about this phone is it is an Android 10 and is guaranteed the next two upgrades to Android 11 and 12 when those become available, as well as three years of security upgrades monthly. I use Google often and was happy to see that there is a dedicated google assistant button located on this phone. I can just press the button and ask it to find me anything, without having to type. I also like that it works while my phone is in locked mode. The resolution and pixels on this phone are great for watching movies and videos as well as playing games. The colors are sharp and bright. The screen is a great size and the images look clear and crisp. I am still learning all of the great options on the state of the art ZEISS camera. There are several options such as close up, wide landscape, and portraits to name a few. There is also a rear facing camera that takes great selfies. The ZEISS video has cinematic effects, but I like how stable it is while walking and recording. No matter if you are shooting a video or taking stills, this camera has sharp, bright images. The Bluetooth is easy to use and was easy to set up with all of my Bluetooth enabled devices. I like that this phone also comes with the option of a headphone jack, most phones do not have that, but this one does. Along with Bluetooth there is also hotspot and tethering. There is nothing that the Nokia 8.3 5G has not thought of.

Zeiss Lets me down
Needing to move from a branded phone to an unbranded phone with a different antenna, I bought this phone thinking the ZEISS name would prove an excellent camera. The camera is terrible - difficult to focus, late shutter, overexposed images - and that is after working carefully with the settings. The google operating system is very intrusive. As I only use the phone for calls and images (and VERY few calls), the phone has proved a profound disappointment. I am still using my 7-yr-old Samsung for all images and this new phone sits on the charger. I will be replacing it as soon as possible

    Great phone.. Almost perfect
    Firstly let me say I love this device! The screen is large and crisp the battery goes on forever and it still has a headphone jack! So why only 4 stars two things. First it should have some type of waterproofing this day and age every device does. Plus let's face its a Nokia thier entire reputation is built around being durable. Second while the cameras are good I wanted amazing. It is a great camera during the day and in well lit rooms however it gets noisy at night. This is Nokia's flagship device right now it needs a flagship camera. You can't give me the Nokia N95, the Nokia N8 and the Lumia 1020 then not give me a top flight camera on the 8.3. All that being said it's a powerful device that does everything I need and more!

    Nokia in back in the smartphone business!
    This feature rich phone deserves a spot on the table. Photos come out amazing - clear and vibrant. Battery life lasts me at least 2 days of full use - internet surfing, some light work using Office apps on Android, plus calls and messages of course. Audio quality is good, haven't heard any complaints while on Google Fi network wifi calling or otherwise. Only con I have is the size. It truly is huge for what I'm personally used to. But while I miss having an under 5.5 inch phone, I will recommend this device for anyone who doesn't mind a big screen ^_^

    Great low/mid priced phone - if a little too big
    Pleased with the phone so far (after about a month of use). This was an upgrade from my old Nokia 6.1. Here are some thoughts on things I like and areas for improvement. Camera: This is a huge improvement over what I was used to. I know some video perfectionists may complain about certain aspects of the cameras, for the price I'm very happy with the quality of the photos and the videos. Size: This is a really tall phone. It is roughly the same width as my old NOK 6.1, but it is at least an inch longer. It is really too long to fit comfortably in a front pocket and it doesn't fit well in the phone dock in my pickup truck. The extra length isn't really useful since I'm not into watching wide-screen content on the phone. The size makes it awkward to use one-handed. Buttons: Others have complained about the Google Assistant button on the left side. I agree, it is annoying, but it is pretty easy to disable it. Power/Memory: Both score high for me. I haven't run into any performance issues, even doing conference/video calls. The 128GB internal memory is more than sufficient for my needs. I already had a microSD card also which is a nice option. Overall, I'm very pleased. Just knocked off 1 star mostly for the size issues.

    Would be better if I didn't get a defective model.
    My phone would get a higher rating if it would stop disconnecting from wifi and mobile networks as well as gps. I am not sure if I got a defective model or not. Aside from that the problems I have with it are the placement of google assistant button (who thought that was a good idea or even necessary), the finger print sensor is weird, and good cases are hard to find.

    This phone upgraded a Nokia 7.2 which upgraded a Nokia 6 and a 1020 .. you get the picture. As we travel internationally we need a phone that is (a) unlocked, (b) compatible with international carriers and GSM bands, (c) has dual SIMs and above all is (d) tough and reliable .. which is why we buy NOKIA.

    Nice phone. Nice price
    I usually don't spend much on phones because I don't use a lot of the features, but this phone is very user friendly and has a lot of features I actually use, like the well being app, night light filter, and great camera options. This is my 2nd Nokia phone and I will definitely get another one in the future.

    Better than I expected!
    To be honest I wasn't expecting Nokia to come out with a phone that would turn heads. Not only does it look good but the size and usage is great! I play games and watch a lot of videos on my phone in general and I haven't had any problems with the phone. Battery life is great for those that use their phone a lot

    Best phone I've ever had!!
    I got my Nokia 8.3 5g cell phone recently and I have been waiting for this to show up. I have just started using it and this phone is so awesome. It's is a major upgrade from my previous phone. It has the best features, its compatible with Android 11, and it's truly global 5g. The processor it uses , the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, is very impressive. The phone comes with OZO audio, which gives you 3D spatial surround sound for the best audio experience while watching movies or listening to music. My absolute favorite feature on this phone is the quad camera. All I can say is WOW!!! This camera is honestly the best I have ever used on a phone. It is definitely the star of this Nokia phone. It has four cameras, the main is 64mp, the front a 24mp, and the macro and depth cameras are 2mp. All together these cameras take the most outstanding looking shots. What makes it even better is the Pure Display with Pixelworks visual processor. This makes all your photos more vibrant and beautiful, and improves the overall quality. I can't say enough great things about this phone as a whole. Everything about it exceeded all my expectations and it really impressed me in more ways than one. I'm extremely satisfied and would highly recommend this phone to everyone. Now my hubby is jealous and wants one for himself of course. Also included with the phone was a type C charger and a set of headphones. Nokia was also so generous and kind , they also sent me a phone case and a stand & grip accessory.
