Awesome Chainsaw
I am thoroughly impressed with this 40V battery powered chainsaw. For starters, the power was surprisingly similar to my old gas-powered chainsaw and the battery life was over an hour of nearly constant use. The other thing I love about this chainsaw is that it is self-sharpening and makes it so that each use the blade cuts through logs like butter. I highly recommend this product and also really like some of the other Oregon 40V products such as the blower! I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review.

Does what it is made for but don't sell gas saw
Have used about 6 hours cutting time on 6 different jobs. Great for 6 inch diameter and smaller--cuts like butter. Not so easy on 12 to 16 inch tree trunks. Works but you have to be patient and try to keep from binding as it will stop and have to take out and restart and put back in cutting slot. 4 ah batteries hold up well (not as well as they claim--do any?) Much thinner kerf than normal gas saws. Will keep my Stihl gas for the felling and use this saw for cutting up or up in tree limbing. I do recommend it.

    After charging the battery, chain worked very well on an old tree stump. Chain sharpner was also used, and worked very well in sharpening the chain.

    Excellent quality and battery life.
    Excellent quality! Long battery life. Easy to assemble if you follow the instructions. Charge the battery till the green light is steady, snap it into the chainsaw. I just finished using it for a solid hour and it still has plenty of battery life. Easily as much power as a gas engine of the same size. This is my first Oregon tool and I am very impressed with the quality of manufacturing, ease-of-use and overall appearance. Definitely recommend. I shopped around for hours online and called several stores in my area and this was an excellent price for a charger and battery. A lot of sauce on Amazon and Walmart both have bare tools with no battery or charger, so be careful. This one comes with a battery and charger
