Keeps the bugs away
This is a wonderful product and easy to use. It is critter season and I have used this product and it is keeping them away. Wolf spiders do not like it at all. Highly recommend this product.

Not for Spotted Lanternfly
I bought this specifically to kill the Spotted Lanterfly in my maple tree because Ortho's website claimed it killed them on contact when used per the package directions. Unfortunately, even when used exactly as directed it did nothing. They paused as they were covered in spray and then just kept on going. No change, no death, nothing. I'm sure it works on other insects but it didn't work for this annoying invasive species.

    Over the years in the spring and fall, there are always ants, insects, centipedes, etc. finding their way into our home. I used Home Defense last fall and actually did not have a single insect issue in the house. I will be using this product again this spring around the perimeter of my entire house to keep those little critters out !

    Stay away!!!
    I have tried numerous different products to combat the bugs from coming in because I hate bugs in my house!!! I was happy to try this new product which I sprayed not only along the perimeter of the house but was able to go out into the lawn with it as well hopefully creating a protective shield around my home! It went on with ease and didn't harm the lawn at all

    Granted it is early in the season, I have noticed fewer ants and other critters that I have seen in the past normally I would have spiders already starting their webs and I have not seen them so far

    I love this product!
    I sued this product for the spring ant fest we usually have and the ants that were not eliminated have left the building! The no spill measuring cap was very easy to use and there was no mess or cleanup. So far the pests have not returned. Thanks Home Defense!

    Excellent overall Insect Control for Lawns and Trees
    In North Florida we have insects year around, and in the spring they definitely become more of a problem. Misquotes are a serious problem now, as well as insects on my citrus trees. This product seems to work on killing BOTH, so I don't have to buy these products separately, as well as lawn pests like lawn moths and sod web worms. I have applied it once and notice no misquotes on my screen porch where they usually land. It will also kill fleas and ticks which are a constant pest for my out door cats. Seems like the ideal all around insecticide that is easy to apply with an Ortho lawn sprayer. (I'm waiting for the bees to finish pollinating my citrus tree flowers before spraying them just to be careful with the the little guys :) Then I hope it will keep scale and leaf curl off these trees as well.

    For the last few years, I have had an influx of tawny ants on my property. Since I am surrounded by forested areas, extermination is out of the question. I mix the Ortho Concentrate as directed in a sprayer and apply weekly. I spray it around my home foundation and grass perimeter. I also spray around the outside AC compressor, since these ants love to get in electronic controls. This Ortho mixture keeps the ants at bay. It also kills fleas and ticks In the areas my dog frequents. This products works well.
