Effective immediately
Extremely effective! It says that it's concentrate doesn't leave behind a residue.... It does. However, if you are looking for a barrier to keep out pests this will deliver immediately. I've always trusted home defense to keep pests out of my place for many years. Very trusted product that consistently delivers.

Good Sprayer, Useless Defense
The only thing that worked on this product is it's sprayer. Ten minutes after spraying down an area for ants. The ants were crawling back over the sprayed down area. The spray does nothing to protect against ants or other insects. I will kill on contact, but so does soap and water. I could mark this up to a bad batch but my son had similar experience with it. If I was you I would stay away from this product.

    Easy to apply but the only set back was the fleas seem to roll in the spray like it was lotion to them and the next day requested a second dose...killed a spider no problem. Oh and delivery driver left package at my neighbors but hey no one perfect (smh)

    This spray works pretty well. The attached sprayer sprays evenly and thoroughly, and it was easy and fast to set up to use. It does have a little bit of a smell, but its not too strong and it does dry fairly quickly. We had a few ants getting inside and sprayed around where they were coming through. It didn't kill them instantly, but within a couple of minutes you could see them starting to die off. It's not the strongest pesticide on the market, but it does work well for inside the house where you don't want to use such strong things.

    Received my indoor insect barrier just in time for summer I really like how easy it wast to set up the nozzle is extra long the product does not have a strong odor dries fairly quick im able to put away easily has kept insects away so far

    Extremely impressed with this product. We had some ants invading our glassed in veranda with heated floors. Well, tried some home remedies at first, then some traps with zero result. However, after ONE application of Ortho spray - not one ant in sight. Extremely, extremely effective. Love the spraying wand - it is thin and long enough to get into all nooks and crannies. Love that you do not need to pump - it is battery operated. Set-up is minimal and very simple. The chemical is clear and does not stain floors or carpets. Dries in about 20 minutes. Right after application there is some odor (not too horrible nor is it too strong) but it completely dissipates when everything is dry. We have dogs and cats, so the veranda was off limits for a couple of hours for them. Just wanted to make sure that things were completely dry. In short - terrific stuff! Easy to apply, quick to air out and very effective.

    came to my rescue!
    YIKES!! i started seeing some bugs in my kitchen at night when i turned on the light so i wanted something effective and fast acting as well as easy to use and i found it in the Ortho Home Defense Max Indoor Insect Barrier with Extended Reach Comfort Wand. I sprayed the perimeter of every room upstairs and downstairs and i haven't seen a bug since! This is the easiest and most convenient sprayer ive ever used. Its very well designed. The wand folds out easily to reach hard to get to places and lets me spray without having to bend. when im through with it i just fold it up and clip it into its own special holder that keeps it all together and compact and ready for the next use. It sprays the first time every time after its primed and I also like that its safe for children and pets when its dry. Couldnt be easier!

    Easy to use
    I was having issues with bugs in backyard and around the perimeter of my home. After using the Ortho Home Defense I noticed great results the following day. I sprayed around the foundation of my home and because of the wand it makes it extremely portable and accessible for anyone to use.

    Great Product!
    I am a long-time ortho products user. I've been doing all the bug prevention with Ortho Home Defense around and in my home for years. I was happy to see a new and improved product that dries faster and creates a long lasting barrier, continuing to kill those nasty little varmits. It has no odor and doesn't stain any flooring. I love the long reach sprayer! I will replace my regular Home Defense with the Max.

    We've been using this product for years now, because of small insects and cockroaches in the kitchen, my husband used to love this, my only complaint about it is after you used it a couple of times, the hose of it was leaking, we couldn't use it the same way that it should, my it's still effective, killing those insects in a minutes

    Received this product to try .In my opinion it works great . Easy to follow instructions, easy to use , comes with a Wand to reach hard to get places. Drys fast . It doesn't have a odor and drys fast . Love how it works on spiders and ants . I would recommend this to all my family and friends
