Led lantern light still bright after a year!
This is the best and inexpensive product I've purchased 4 blackouts. My batteries have lasted in it a year already.The light is still just as bright as when I purchased the lantern last year. I have 2 and purchasing another.

    Good lantern for dark nights
    Bought two of these for a friend; she seems very pleased. We recently lost power for a few days because of a snow storm so we are both very aware of needing some light when the power is off.

    Great Lantern!
    This lantern came in very handy during last week's heavy rainstorms. The electricity went out several times over a few hours and the lantern was excellent in illuminating my living room. The high setting provided plenty of light. Very happy with this purchase!

    Fantastic Lantern!
    I had a feeling that blackouts would be coming soon, and purchased this just to have in case they did. I live in a studio apt approx 250 - 300 feet, so I can only speak to how effective it was for me. Within 2 weeks of purchasing this a windstorm blew out the power in my area for about 5 hours. I had this lantern on for about 4 1/2 hours and it was a lifesaver. During that time the bulb didn't dim, and I would say it was about as bright as a real good desk lamp. It's portable, so I could take it into the bathroom for lighting there when needed. And during that time it didn't seem to me to be a huge battery drain. I would definitely recommend this as a budget friendly option for anyone. Obviously you would need several if you live in a large home. If it was going to be used outdoors, I guess it would depend on it's purpose. It certainly is bright enough for a tent or campfire use.

    Not bright enough
    Item is ok, but performs like a mini lantern. It is not as bright as I would have expected. It would not light up even one room on its own, but it would be enough to be able to see to move around. I bought to have on hand during power outages, but am going to have to find some brighter lanterns to serve this purpose because it would take too many of these to light up the room. Too much hassle to return, but would not repurchase

    There were no instructions about how to insert batteries. By experiment I found that two of the batteries should go in down, and one up. I am saying "up" and "down" relative to the normal of the lantern. If you turn it upside down to insert batteries, then reverse that. With batteries properly inserted, the lantern works on both high and low. Package states: made in China.

    Great product for the money
    Seems like a very good product but I couldn't give it a five-star because I haven't purchased diesel batteries. Would have been nice if they supplied them. All their other products they supply batteries so I was surprised to see that this didn't come with batteries

    Light in dark places
    I have many blackouts here in California and need a good light or two for my home. To check out its usefulness, sat outside on my porch and used the one light to read by. It was perfect. Two levels of intensity and the bright is really bright. Plan to buy more.

    Smart Savings
    I was looking all over for the Coleman brand and found that this was so much more inexpensive that I would give it a try. I am happy that I did. I like the easy lightweight, bright, adjustable brightness, with a simple on off switch. The Lantern is easy to carry. Although I cannot compare to the ruggedness of the outdoors to Coleman I am happy with this as an indoor power outage Lantern. Stable, inexpensive, reliable. I would definitely recommend.
