No complaints!
As someone who grew up camping, I am so impressed with how much progress has been made in the quality and structure of tents nowadays versus the past. Gone are the days that it takes an hour and four people to put together a tent. This tent was insanely easy to set up! It is recommended to have two people but I did it by myself in less than five minutes! It is roomier than I expected and would definitely hold two queen size mattresses with no problem. The rainfly is easy to attach as well. Another perk is that they smartly attached the directions to the inside of the bag so you don't have to worry about keeping up with a piece of paper. The directions are simple and easy to follow as well. I love that it comes with an led light already inside because that is one less item to bring with your camping supplies. The inside windows are nice and spacious and the pockets on the inside are great for a little extra storage.The navy blue color on the bottom of the tent is absolutely beautiful. I just set it up in my yard but I can't wait to take this out on a real camping trip!

Great value, get 4 D batteries for the light!
Purchased this tent and took it on its first spin this weekend. The first thing I did was set up, there were two of us, but one could have managed in a pinch. It went up super fast; we had our tent up and our double tall queen air mattress fully inflated and the sheet on it before our friends finished setting up their dome tent. We set it up on a heavy duty tarp as we camp in Western Washington rain forests frequently. As soon as it was up we put the rain fly up (sort of a pain but not a big deal. Then I sprayed the whole thing with a can of scotch guard waterproofing. I always do this with all of my new tents and it pays off in the event of rain. And we did have a little bit of rain and it sprinkled for several hours one day, but our tent walls and floor remained dry. It was not heavy rain though it was enough to use a low windshield wiper setting. My dogs got eager to get out of the tent and did rip the screening of the door window, but they are labs and in very good shape! I will be able to repair the screening by hand, however the dogs will no longer be permitted a window view when contained in the tent unattended! We did not stake the tent at all and it still had pretty good stability and wall integrity - the zippers seem durable and the tent fabric also seems pretty durable. Overall this is a great tent for on the cheap and held our queen air mattress with plenty of space around the sides for duffle bags, backpacks, shoes, and two labs to sleep ..not like mine slept on the floor, but there was plenty of room for them too if I was not such a sucker! This tent meets all of our needs in a tent. It held heat well and we ended up opening the windows and would have taken the rain fly off if we hadnt been having intermittent showers.

    Great tent for the price.
    I took this tent camping for four days. Setting the tent up and taking it down was very easy, It took me less than 5 minutes without help. I treated the rain fly with Scotchgard Outdoor waterproofing spray. Two of the nights we had several hours of steady rain with 10-20mph winds. There was a tiny puddle at the door on the first night and I may have caused that going in and out. Second night of rain was completely dry inside. This tent also has excellent ventilation. Overall, I am very pleased with the performance of this tent.

    good quality but heavy
    The item seems to be sturdy, well made. The only downside is its weight @ 25 lbs. One can also argue it's a sign of quality. I knew this item is heavy before I got it but went ahead and ordered it anyway. Have not used it yet. Reduce one star for the weight.

    Set up was a breeze
    The set up and take down of this tent is amazingly quick and easy. It still is best done with 2 people just because of the size of the tent, but I think one person could do it if needed. The in tent light is a nice feature, especially with the three brightness options. Storage in the bag is easy. It has an extension area (like luggage) so you get the tent in and then can zip down that extra area for a moser compact package. Overall very impressed with this tent.

    Large, Easy Setup
    Great tent for easy setup. It took my 4 year old and I about 15 minutes to get it all set up for the first time. I would estimate you could have the tent all set up in 5 minutes once you know what you're doing. Having 2 people for setup is definitely helpful, but it is doable by yourself as well. I'm a 5'5" woman and I did it with very little trouble. If you're setting up by yourself, I would suggest attaching the fly on top before extending the 4 legs all the way (see picture). The tent has a window on either side that open from the inside, and a small vent on the back that opens from outside (see picture). I've seen these vents used for evening airflow or even to attach A/C units. The light on the top is very convenient. It comes with battery pack and cords as well. Plenty of room inside for our family of 5. There is no real overhang over the main door, which could be an issue during rain. The material is decently thick - as expected for the price of the tent. No problems yet. Clean up is very simple as well. It was a pain in the neck to get the tent back in the bag until I realized there is a zipper extender on the bag (like on some suitcases). That was a big help. Overall we are very happy with it.

    Love these tents
    I have to admit that I actually haven't used this one yet because I live in Northeast Pa and despite having a few days in the 40's and a few days rain there is still almost a foot of snow on the ground here. I have unpacked it and looked it over to see that all is fine. I do have an older version of this tent that I've used multiple times without any issues. Quick and easy setup and takedown...did both on my own. The built in light in this one is a great touch and one less thing to worry about. Love the colors on this one. Never had a leaking problem or anything with Ozark Trail tents. Affordable quality products.

    Super easy setup tent
    I would definitely recommend this tent. The setup and take down was so easy. The legs fold in and no take apart! It has a battery pack for USB devices and very roomy! I don't know about 6 people but 4 would be comfortable. It also has a small door on the back to let a dog out without opening the main door.

    This is amazing
    The Ozark Trail 6p Instant Cabin Tent W/lt is so awesome, I am loving this tent so much. First want to say this is my very first tent that I have ever owned and I am very impressed with it. Not only is it just so huge inside with alot of space but it was so easy to put up. Was not complicated at all. I took it out of the box, glanced at the instructions and did what it said to do and I had it up in less then 10 minutes. The poles on all four sides extend and then click into place. Very easy also taking it down. The tent is really big inside and so much room. It has mesh windows with coverings to open and close when wanted, and also the door flap has a mesh covering so you can close the door and unzip the mesh covering part to get fresh air. It has 2 mesh windows on the sides and one smaller one on the back of the tent. The tent is made very well with high quality material, very durable and strong. It also comes with a bkue tarp cover to put over your tent in case it rains. This is one of the best tents I have ever seen. Especially how easy it is to put up. Also I really like the light that it has inside, came with a battery pack where you put batteries in and connect it via USB to have a light inside. I would definitely recommend this tent, it is a very nice one and easy to use.

    Easy to set up!
    This tent is so simple to set up. You just unfold the legs and it snaps up. My boyfriends head hits the top and he's about 5'10. Not really an issue though. It's big and supposed to fit 6 people. We are a family of 4 but I don't think it's big enough for 6 people. It's supposed to fit 2 queen beds so I can't imagine 6 people fitting on the beds unless crowded. I like all the windows and even has a spot for an air conditioner. We will never use that though. It also has a light attached that is powered by a battery pack. Tents have really come along way since I was a kid! We are excited to use it this summer!
