Great for every day use!
Great percolator! Makes the best coffee I have ever had. Incredibly happy everything is stainless steel, so I can feel confident using it daily without contamination. I'll brew up the coffee, then store leftovers in the fridge right in the pot (basket removed). I do recommend getting some glass percolator caps to replace the plastic one if you decide to use this on the regular. I also oil the wood on the handle with mineral oil on occasion to keep it in good shape. General rule with perks is 4 TBSP for mild coffee, 6 for medium, 8 or more for strong. Then brew for 10-15 min. I like to put a coffee filter in the basket to filter everything better, so just poke a hole right in the middle with a chopstick and pop it right in the basket over the perc pipe. Anyway, a great all around coffee pot, very happy I purchased it, recommend!

waste of money not suitable for camping or home
Super cheaply made didn't even fill it to the max line and it still boiled all over my stove threw it in the garbage 20 minutes after it arrived.

    Center of the knob top popped out while brewing
    I would be more than happy to give the percolator pot a better review, it just so happened that the center of knob popped apart while brewing coffee. why the knobs aren't made of glass for this pot I will never know, probably just to save a couple of bucks to make them.

    The inside of the pot when wiped, black color came out make the sponge black and very hard to remove !

    Not Great but note horrible!
    I think as a camping coffee pot it's fine but I wanted a non-electric SS one for our induction burner. It did work there but comes with dire warnings on never ever let it boil out. I could see that happening. The pot is well made but the basket was not the right size-- had a 0.25 gap in its circumference between the pot

    Make tea other than coffee
    I like about this product is how easy to make coffee, but I am not a coffee drinker. So I use this percolator to make regular and Thai Tea. at home or at camp site. The construction of this product is well made.

    Cheap percolator top
    The pot is great, the percolator top not so much. It never fit quite right, but I dealt with that. Now, one year later, the top broke....pot pretty useless now.

    I am very pleased with the Ozark Trail Stainless Steel Percolator. It has a stainless steel hanging/carrying attached plus a 1" wide side handle with riveted wood. Ideal for picnics, camping as well as indoors.

    Does the job
    Works great and coffee taste so much better in a percolator. Everything comes apart on it to wash so be careful not to loose the glass knob. The only time I found grinds in my coffee is when I let it boil too long.

    Happy wife, happy life
    This allowed me ro nake coffee for my wife while camping; thank God! Heats quickly. Use to make hot chocolate for the kids and tea for me. Heat up water for dish washing. Handle does not get hot at all.
