good tasting water
Great tasting water from these. Easy to replace. I have used these for many years and the only issue I have is that the water flow can really suck. It goes a bit like this - replace filter and flow is good, replace next time and flow is bad. I have found a ratio of 1 with good flow to 3 with bad flow. These filters are not cheap and it annoys me that the results vary so much. This 3 pack is a good price though. I do not know if they remove all they say and that is taken on trust. If I ever come into some money I would love to have a water test commissioned to see what is actually being removed. I do recommend them as they take out any bad tastes and appear to work as advertised.

Poor Replacement to Original Pur Mineral Filter
I just put the first of this 3pk on my Pur faucet water. The company has been sold and it's extremely evident that the quality of this product has gone downhill. There are no gaskets on the top of the filter as the original Pur Mineral filters had on it. The overall weight of the filter is lighter and seems cheaper in content. As a long time consumer of this product, I have to say I will see how long this filter will last and then decide if I will make further purchases. It seems unfair to loyal Pur customers to not only sell the company without alerting the public but to sell it to a company that cannot meet the expectations of its customers. I am also unsure that this filter will perform as the previous original Pur filter as far as removing contaminants from the water.

    well when I got them and installed one in my pur faucet filter and it sprayed water everywhere so I took the filter back out and come to find out none of the 3 filters i ordered did not come with the rubber seals so I lost about $40 dollars or more on that

    Not Genuine PUR Filters
    I'm not sure these are actually genuine PUR filters! When I compared the old one to these, they don't have any of the black rubber pieces (just the blue cover that appears to be glued back together). I can see where the grooves are for the black rubber seals, but there's no seals. There is also this strange imprint carved into the outer case that isn't that way on my previous filters. I have posted pictures of the old filter (with black rubber pieces) and this knockoff filter. I also included a shot of the strange imprint on the side of these knockoffs. Unfortunately, I purchased these about a year ago and am just now opening them (since I used the stock of them I already had). So, now I'm just stuck with a box of refurbished filters that there's no way I trust. I thought at least I could come on and leave this review to let others know to BEWARE of these (I'm just going to purchase them in-store from now on).

    Love it.
    Works wonderfully. Water tastes cleaner and better. PUR is easy to install and it's easy to replace the filter. I've owned two different filter systems and they both used the same PUR filter.

    SO UPSET AFTER WAITING OVER 2 WEEKS FOR THIS TRASH
    OMG THESE ARE NOT PUR FILTERS OR ANYTHING LIKE - THE HAVE TO INTER FILTER THE WATER FLOWS STRAIGHT THRU AND NOT ANY FILTERING. I AM APPAULED THAT WALMART WOULD LIST THIS ITEM FOR SALE. I WANT A REFUND AND REFUSE TO PAY ANY SHIPPING TO RETURN. WHAT A JOKE. SHAME - SHAME WHY WOULD YOU ALLOW THE WALMART NAME TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PIECE OF TRASH.

    Very disappointed.
    These come in a plain white box and don't seem to be real PUR. I bought some a few days ago near me because it was taking longer to get these than expected. They come in gold foil and these are plain silver. I believe these are a different brand than PUR. The pictures are showing what I bought from the store and what came from here.

    I received a box of three filters that fit my PUR faucet mount filter but they are not PUR, they are generic brand or something. The box was a small white box, not the PUR labeled box, the filters are a different color as well as wrapped on each filter. PUR filters are labeled PUR, these are not. The water sprays out instead of flowing nicely like it should. I ordered and paid for PUR and received fakes. The box and wrapper, the difference in color can be seen in the photo, the stamp on the bottom cannot be made out in a photo. These are going back and the seller should be reported. I'd like to give it below zero rating.

    Better tasting water!
    PUR plus water filters work great! I live where the water smells and tastes like sulfur so I use this and I'm able to drink my water. Without these PUR plus filters I'd have to buy bottled water. They aren't cheap but Wal-Mart has the best deal. Big thumbs up on this product.

    Last one was defected
    The water was dripping instead of flowing out of the last filter. After 30 minutes, it was still dripping drop by drop so I had to throw it out. So, only two of out the three filter was useable.

    Replacement water filters in stock
