Waste money, too slowly, very stupid
Don't buy this model, very slowly, u need to 5 hours to filter 1 gallon, stupid product.

    Fishy smell from boiled filtered water steam
    Something is wrong with the filters - when you boil the water, there is a fishy smell coming from the steam. I've used PUR for a long time, and this just started happening in the past 6 months with replacement filters from Home Depot, and now also Walmart. Disappointing, because PUR seems to be the water filter that all testing reviews identify as most effective at removing contaminates! I'll have to find a new one now.

    This was the wrong type of filter so I couldn't use it at all. However, that was my fault as I should have canceled it from my order, so the 1-star rating doesn't mean the filter is no good, it was just the wrong one. I needed a Brita filter for my water pitcher. Thanks again for the good job you all do.

    Easy to install!
    Easy to install. If the lifetime per filter can be increased better. The lifetime seems to be based on a senser and a counter fixed to pitcher. And not based on the quality of filtering. We may be throwing out perfectly good filters as the count expires!

    Great filters, takes a very long time
    Filters do a great job. The water tastes fresh and looks very clear. My only reservation is the unusually long time it takes to do it job. Have tried different filters in the pack and read advice on how to speed the process, but nothing seems to work.

    Bought these hoping to feel better about the water I drink. But these filters do not work properly. I have the countertop dispenser and it will only filter half the reservoir in one night. Unacceptable! I’ve been dealing with the slowness from the very beginning and it’s only gotten worse over 4 weeks. This is in a one-person household. Tried their official suggestion to shake the filter and it made the situation worse. Based on other reviews I’ve read, I am not the only one with this issue. To the makers of Pur: it’s time to admit there is an issue with these filters, own it, and fix the problem! I’m glad Walmart has such a great return policy.

    Works very well for us.
    There are a lot of solids that are disolved in the water supply of our town. The two most prevalent are calcium and iron. The water tastes like - you know what! The Pur Plus filter makes it drinkable.

    I have not used this time yet, as my last cartridge is still I use. From revious order and they just as promised, just remember to shake the new cartiridge hard up/down to loosen charcoal inside be soaking in water. Never had a problem, so I wait and see.

    Use a PUR water pitcher, no more plastic bottles
    This PUR water pitcher and filter combo is the most economical, efficient, easiest, convenient way to have clean, clear, filtered water at all times for drinking and cooking. I keep it on my kitchen counter and add tap water as necessary. It can also be kept in your refrigerator if you prefer cold water. The seven cup pitcher is the right size for one or two people with an easy to grip handle for easy pouring. Save the planet, use a PUR water pitcher, no more plastic bottles to add to landfill.
