Very Fresh and Tasty
I was surprised by how fresh this soup tastes. Much fresher than any other canned or packaged soup. The texture is also very nice. It has enough body to it, that you would just assume it was homemade. The flavor is a little more subjective. Our family loves Butternut Squash, which is why we chose this soup. I found the flavor to be mild for my taste. That is probably preferable for most everyone else who might not be as big a fan of Butternut Squash. In all fairness, we did not attempt to jazz up or over spice the soup. I wanted to try the soup as it came from the package, but I think for my taste, even just a little salt and pepper might have been nice. Another thing I really like about this soup is the package. It is incredibly convenient to open up the top and simply dispense exactly the right portion. No digging out our rarely used can opener or disposing of a messy can. Bottom line, I think this Pacific Natural Foods creamy soup is different from any others I have tried. We are looking forward to trying some of their other flavors.

Nice texture, unexpected spices
This soup had the best texture, I was just not expecting it to have such strong spices in it, such as nutmeg. It's a high quality product, organic, gluten free, I love the packaging, its easy to store, and would be easy to take with you on a camping trip, or in your lunch. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the strong nutmeg flavor. If you like that you would love this soup.

    Squash soup...
    I love all kinds of squash. I have not had anything made with squash that I didn't like. Was excited about trying this soup. It was ok...really plain n boring by itself. It states on the package, to use it as a sauce n a few other things that I'm sure will all be good.

    Great gluten free soup!
    This is a really good soup. I love butterbut squash soup and this is no exception. There are not many options when it comes to gluten free soups but Pacific has become my go-to. Their brand is the one I chose when I make casseroles and need a gluten free soup option. They always come out really tasty and no one can tell they are gluten free. Thank you Pacific for making options for people with food allergies like me and my family (many in my family have a gluten allergy). It means we can be included in really good holiday meals and that means a lot!

    Butternut squash soup
    This is a very convenient packaged food.comes in a cardboard container with a screw on lid. This makes for easy portion and serving. I did not really like the flavor and I like butternut squash.I think it's a texture thing for me although it's very smooth and velvety I just wanted texture I did add a little cream but still I did not like, would be better if you add something.

    Delicious and versatile
    I love butternut squash roasted in the oven with a little olive oil and seasoning but never had it as a soup before. Since I do not own a blender and wouldn't be able to make it from scratch, I decided to try this product - and it is absolutely delicious! I loved it plain for lunch (ate one bowl that way to be able to review it "as is") and then also added some leftover veggies and meat to it and had another bowl for dinner (with homemade latkes my daughter gave me - YUM!) It was so good that I already included a box in my most recent grocery delivery and look forward to eating more soon. I am not much of a cook so this soup is not only tasty, it is a really simple way of making my mostly bland foods extra delicious. The flavor is very good, especially if you like butternut squash, plus the texture is creamy and smooth. I can see me using it in a variety of ways (such as cooking some chickpea pasta in it instead of in water). I highly recommend this product and now plan to try out other flavors of boxed soup from this company.

    This soup was very tasty. I was prepared to add salt or some other seasoning, but this was just perfect all by itself. I added fried onions just for a dash of splash. But it complimented the soup very well. I will definitely purchase this soup on future occasions!! You won't be dissapointed. Pros Convenient Tasty Smooth Velvelty Perfect Seasoning Cons None

    Smooth and a little too sweet
    This soup was good. It comes in an easy to store 32 oz box with easy pour top. No spilling. It is vegan, which my daughter appreciated. I added a scoop of Greek yogurt and some herbs to my bowl. It has a lot of ginger, nutmeg flavor with the squash. Personally I prefer a more savory soup, maybe curry or cumin spiced. But this was tasty, and 90 calories a cup. 4 g fiber. There is added sugar, which I felt was unnecessary, it was really a little too sweet, but I didn't have any trouble cleaning up my bowl and going back for seconds.

    I am not terribly sure what to expect when it comes to Butternut Squash. I don't have a lot of experience with it. I have heard so many great things about Butternut Squash Soup, I had to try. Pacific Natural Foods Organic Creamy Butternut Squash Soup was better than I thought it was going to be. And a lot more nutmeg and cinnamon than I was prepared for. It was good but I don't see myself buying more in the future. I'm sure it's just my lack of experience with the vegetable.

    Best thing about this soup is that it is not too sweet. Typically butternut squash soups are too sweet for me and I tend to not enjoy them. This soup has great consistency, just the right amount of sweetness and deep, aromatic flavor. Easy to serve (just reheat and add toppings of your choice). Perfect fall meal for a cold evening.
