Good deal
I was wary about getting a “squirrel “ proof feeder, but so far— this has worked great. A squirrel did sit near it one day, but couldn't figure out how to attack it. So far, NO squirrels have gotten to it!!!

Save your money.
Bought two because they are small, and the price is good (cheap), but not happy overall. Food does fall out of the ends, but there is no place for birds to perch while they eat. I've had mine full of food for days and not one bird. Save your money.

Did not care too much for this feeder. I had to purchase a dowel rod and wood so birds could land to eat without having to balance on small ledge in their seed. Would of been better off building my own.

    Waste of Money!!!
Worthless junk! I purchased it on April 16, 2022, fell apart in June. It wasn't put up right away, so maybe 2 months. The cord came loose and of course, it all fell to the ground. Due to rainy periods, I do not fill any of my feeders full.

    Good purchase. Easy to install.
It is as pictured and holds a good amount of seed. The cardinals and smaller birds seem to really like it. It's not exactly squirrel proof if you have acrobatic squirrels (see photo), but I guess they gotta eat too.

solid wood and lots of space for birds to eat
this is a great bird feeder. the wood is beautiful and enough weight to protect against wind. Good vision to watch the birds feed. My cat likes to watch the feeder. Ha!

    Very nice. Works very well!
The Hopper Wild Bird Feeder is ideal for my patio. The birds and squirrels love it. Unfortunately, I need to get a pole to hang it from - the crazy squirrels knocked it off the railing of the patio. Very happy with the look and ease of added seeds to the feeder.

    Inaccurate Picture
The first photo on Walmart.com features a bird feeder with more of a trough style. The bird feeder you actually receive is featured in the 3rd photo. The picture in the 3rd photo is still okay, but it allows food to spill out the sides.
