Dont buy these if you need covers.
If you are looking for speakers that have covers, look elsewhere. These dont have then. I just chopped up a package tray to opem these and find no covers. My 5x8s came with covers! Why the change. Returning these and going somewhere else.

    Surprised by how good they are.
    Downgraded my car audio from high end to low end to sell. Replaced my amped Infiniti speakers with these. they sound so much better. I have them amped on a cheap Crunch amp at 30w rms each. its clean, amazing sound.

    Like the mid, and highs. Perfect bass for running off stock radio that pushes 25 watts. Meaning, you can max the system out with no worries. These handle 50 watts.

    Awesome speakers! For $50 They sound great ! I did an intense test to the speakers and I also hooked them up to amplifier and the speakers at full volume, they do not distort at all ! Great for the money !!!

    Easily competes with speakers double the price
    I have a 2014 Ford Edge without the Sony system. I replaced the stock speakers, with these in all of the doors, and its literally a night and day difference. The bass these produce are so strong that it vibrates the seats, and they do not fade/distort, even when the volume is maxed out. Its incredibly clear as well, and these have a great balance of all tones. Installing these were also easy, they fit right into the same space that the stock ones did. I used a metra harness to connect these, and took maybe 10 minutes each door. For only $52 a set, these are SO good for the price. If you are not one for bass heavy audio, then these may not be the speakers for you. But if you are, these are an amazing value and you would be hard-pressed to find something to hate about these.

    Factory speakers have better sound quality
    These speakers are not worth the $50. I wanted to upgrade the factory speakers in my car, because a couple of them are distorting at higher volumes. The sound quality was good on them, compared to these Pioneers. These speakers have very little treble, and a lot of mid range. I expected a lot better sound quality for $50
