Tangle free braid
Absolutely no memory. Very strong and easy to tie to a 25lb shock leader. 30lb braid has the diameter of 8lb mono. GREAT FOR TARGET CASTING INTO STRUCTURE. THIS LINE EASILY MUSCLES LARGE SHEEPSHEAD OUT OF STRUCTURE.

Poor fishing line
I put it on a brand new baitcaster, the spiderweb in the reel was so bad I had to cut it all off. Cutting it off wasnt easy either, with a box cutter.

    Great line
    This line usually last me two seasons and as its equivalent to 8lb Mono so I use on my freshwater reels. I also use about 6 feet of Berkley Vanish 17lb test as a lead line which pairs very well

    I love this line as its much thinner than Mono and also does not have memory so will not get those rings on your line like mono. It also lasts a couple seasons as well. However I do recommend using Fluorocarbon (like Berkley Vanish) as a lead line which is invisible underwater.

    Works for me!
    I've been using PowerPro Braid for the past six years or so. Mainly for Live Bait fishing in Southern California and Baja California. I do have a five foot top shot of Mono or Floro line when bait fishing along with a rod with a soft tip. The rod will absorb some of the shock and head shakes when using a so much braid with no stretch. It works well for me -- good product for my type of fishing.

    This is my first experience with braided spectra style lines. The power pro definitely feels coarse to the touch, but I was told that in many instances that is preferable to the PP super slick as the super slick is more prone to "bury itself" on the spool. Again, I don't have any experience with this style of line, so I just noted what others told me and am passing it along for you to consider. Though I bought it in the green color and am intending to use it in saltwater, I read some recommendations to use the red color in salt water because it somehow disappears better. I am not sure, and have not heard a consensus on the best colors for various uses.

    I have always been a fan of mono, but after trying out some 40 # PowerPro and having great success with it I decided to switch out my 20 # mono with 20 # PowerPro. WOW!! What a difference! It has great "touch" and is very sensitive. I love it and have absolute confidence in it. Will be phasing out of mono and putting PowerPro in all my reels.

    About the size of 12lb mono. Works great! I def recommend this product. Reeled in a 150lb Bat Ray took 45 min on 80lb. No problems!
