Great compact treadmill
I was specifically looking for a compact treadmill. This ProForm Cadence Compact 500 is really well suited for my small home gym. It can also easily fold to save space. It is a two person job to bring it inside and to do the assembly. The belt is on the smaller side compared to the average commercial gym, which is perfect for a shorter girl like me (54 and 124lbs). My husband (58 185lbs) who also has no complaints on the width and overall size. If you are taller or weigh over 300 lbs the belt might be too narrow/small for you and over capacity. It has 10 speeds and incline levels. It is sturdy and doesn't wobble when you're on it at the highest speed on a level ground. The monitor is easy to use and simple. It has built-in speakers, which are surprisingly good and huge storage for water bottles, ect. The instruction was clear and straightforward. Packaging could have been better particularly on corner sides when shipping. A small part of the treadmill bent; thankfully it was easily fixable and does not compromise the functionality. Nothing beats getting out of bed and not having to leave the house to get to a gym/health club quality workout especially when you are busy. A free iFit membership for 30 days is also included which has lots of statistics. Overall this compact product is perfect for a busy life and a small room. Disclaimer: I received a discounted product in exchange for my honest feedback.

Dead damaged machine
First of all the box arrived with several large holes in it , treadmill exposed, there was some damage to the surface, a crack. I then assembled it all together and after a couple hours turns out this treadmill doesn't even turn on. I followed the instructions step by step and tried different outlets and nothing. DEAD. I barely had the strength to get it out of the box and now I have to disassemble a broken machine and package it up…

    DO NOT PURCHASE THIS TREADMILL!!!!!!!!!!!
This treadmill is not worth it. Poor quality. Poor customer service. Didn't make it a year. Warranty is only 90 days. Trash! Garbage! Junk! Wasted some money on this purchase. User is a walker not a runner.

    Good purchase
I got this machine not to long ago, was easy for me to put it together I used to do that for a delivery company. I'm 5.3 195lbs If you consider yourself a big person you may not like the space you have between the handle's The machine belt is narrow, I will say this machine is a medium size. I run on it but if you only going to walk on it don't have to worry about loose your step on the belt while running for belt being narrow. The only thing I don't like it's that has a rubbing belt noise while in use. I don't know if will go way with time or I have to loose the belt. But overall is a good purchase for me Until now. 1 week after I buy it.

I had the treadmill last than a year.. walking on it this morning the mat start slipping while I was walking, and if weren't holding onto something you can really hurt yourself. I bought a 3 year warranty and it's hard trying to file a claim and also no number to call. I will be talking to a lawyer on this and I'm not sure who will be sued Walmart or Allstate.

Very misleading and tries to force you to buy iFit
They are very misleading with the iFit feature. There are stickers on the treadmill and noted in the manual that you MUST activate your treadmill in order for it to work and the activation link takes you to a website asking for a credit card for a monthly subscription. I knew that couldn't be true, so I went to Google. Don't fall for the misleading information. The treadmill will work with out, paying for the iFit membership. Just hold the iFit logo on the display screen for about 15 seconds and it will operate just fine without it. Other than being very irritated with how they try to tell you, you have to pay in order to use it the treadmill is very nice. Seems to be good quality, although I have only used it once as of writing this review. Assembling was pretty easy. Instructions say you need two people but I did it solo and didn't have any issues. Like I said, I've only used it once so far and with just one use I don't know if I would say it would be worth the almost $500 price tag however, at the clearance price of under $200 I paid so far I am very satisfied.

    Great compact treadmill.
Great treadmill. Has bluetooth connection to link with workouts on app. Shipping was fast and delivery was good. No damages considering it was shipped all the way to Hawaii.

The actual weight capacity is 275 according to the manual not 300 like it says multiple times on the product descriptions. Don't buy this if you're over 275 as it will not work.

    Unhappy with shipping
The box came to my house destroyed. The box was all ripped up and was open. I' m very unhappy as to how the treadmill showed up. I really hope it still works.

    Love the iFIT workouts
Assembly was a little tough but that's because I did it by myself. I signed up for the iFIT trial and I love it! It's so neat that I can start a workout and follow the training and it automatically adjusts my speed and incline. You can switch to manual anytime but so far it's been great.

    Overall great except one detail..
Ok, so the treadmill itself seems pretty solid. My son and I put it together yesterday and i already used it and so did my son. In fact my son even ran in it. I'm more out of shape than him and older so I chose a fast walk. The speed shifts and the incline work as they should. I did the blue button trick to bypass the ifit subscription sign up that it says you have to do. The only issue I found with it was that when assembling it, there is a plastic cover to the bottom right and left corners where the upright bars meet the treadmill. one side (there are two pieces that are supposed to snap together on each side and a small screw that goes into the outside portion) gotta on easily but the other has done wiring that travels up through the bar to the display console and for whatever the reason do not allow the plastic cover to go over it as it should. After various attempts i just gave up and left that one off (it's the bottom right side to be exact) but it doesn't affect the treadmill or the use of it. it's really just a cover to hide where the upright bar and tread portions come together. Had it not been for that issue it would easily be a five star product. Btw, I used the 3D app on my iPad to assemble it and even that did not explain how to fix the problem.
