"Comfort" right out of a Progresso soup can.
Sometime I just need the comfort of a plain, smooth, rich-tasting soup. Tomato soup right out of the can comes to mind, and Butternut Squash is another. Right out of the can, Progresso Butternut Soup is smooth and comforting. If I want just a little punch, I add 1/4 cup of condensed milk and 1/4 cup of plain yogurt or sour cream to make it creamy. And then add a few turns of Walmart's cracked black pepper. Right out of the can, or made creamy, it fills my desire for a comforting "bowl of soup".

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/02/2022Innovative.It was very bland. However, once I added pumpkin spices, cinnamon, heavy cream, butter, and a half cup of sugar... mixed it up in my blender, heated it up to spread the flavors about... Mixed it up with Blue Bell vanilla ice cream, and then chilled it... It was pretty good. I drank it cold. It was like a pumpkin spice ice cream milk shake.LAURA

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/10/2022Good flavor but too thin.I liked the soup but it was a little thin. I bought some frozen cubed butternut squash and put it in the soup as I was warming it. It helped but was still too thin. Perhaps I could have cooked the squash and mashed it before I added it too the soup. I ended up spilling half the bowl down my leg and onto my white tennies. THAT was not the soup's fault!!SKinKC
