More impressive than I thought it would be
I was able to watch movies (see attached photo of Monster Family), receive incoming emails/notifications, respond to emails, surf the web, and play some games (Elvenar, Gardenscapes, and Minecraft) without any issues. I didn't notice any lag. When you try to visit a desktop game site, it'll reroute you to the appstore (Google), but I selected "desktop site" from my browser (also Google) and was able to play the desktop versions from there. The touchscreen for the keyboard could be more sensitive, but it's better than my iphone. This dvd/tablet uses Andoid GO. I had never even heard of that version before I received this item. Overall, super pleased. Keep in mind the tablet screen does not detach from the dvd player - and the dvd player section is a lot thicker than a traditional tablet.

Temperamental!
I've been using this tablet for a couple of days, trying to get used to it. I like the pull-out stand, but you really need to hold the tablet because you have to press the keyboard keys pretty deliberately. If you wanted to look up a recipe and stand it up, it's perfect. However, it doesn't respond well to my keystrokes. I have to check to see if the character shows up when I touch the key on the keypad. The keyboard needs better sensitivity. I also tried to put some apps on the desktop, but they don't want to appear on the desktop. To see the apps, you have to swipe the desktop. The graphics are mediocre. But, I'm sure for a low-budget situation, such as for a child who needs to have access to the internet for school and Google Drive, this would suffice. It is definitely easier for me to use than an iPad, being an Android person!

    Easy to set up
    Using this tablet as my "kitchen device" to watch shows while I'm cooking and washing dishes. It's come in handy to watch cooking videos and pull up Pinterest recipes. It's thick due to the DVD capability but surprisingly lightweight. I like that it has a stand so I didn't have to buy anything extra. Was also really easy to set up Using my existing Google account, I was able to pick and choose which apps and info I wanted to copy from my phone.

    I would give it a 10 star review if I could! This product has definitely improved my life , and helped me with my kids while we travel. I love that it has dual functionality and I can use it as a tablet or. DVD player. It is very easy to use , even for a toddler, and helped me with airplane trips as well as long car trips! It is light weight, and small to carry it or to store it in my bag ! It's a must for any traveler , especially when traveling with young kids !

    Great for Trips
    Got this so we had a tablet and dvd player for trips and it works perfectly. Super easy to use that my kids can figure it out easily like a smaller tablet. Movies play and its clear and sits perfectly for watching. I would say the only thing is that its bulky and most likely for kids over the age of 8 and or adults but this would be a great gift for travelers or overnight stays because you can bring dvds although most things are streamed and it does that too. Did one less star because it doesnt sit up well and has a chance to fall over and break.

    Loving this tablet!
    This tablet is very nice. It is an android so it has a comfortable interface that is easy to interact with. The physical tablet is quite sturdy and a bit thicker than usual tablets. It has 32 GB of onboard storage and 2 GB of RAM which is plenty for most people. You lift up the front screen to access the DVD player. The DVD player plays smoothly and has a great picture. It comes with the regular charging cord as well as a car adapter. I feel like this would be fantastic for taking on trips.

    Was looking for something exactly like this!
    For being a combo tablet/portable DVD player, I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too bulky or heavy. It came with a car adapter and arrived nearly fully charged. It has a convenient stand on the back, although it could be a bit sturdier. I love that it charges with the same cable as my phone (USB-C). I also already had a USB-C to HDMI cable which I used to hook it up to my projector. This frees up my phone for movie night in the backyard. The picture quality isn't the greatest, but it's good enough. It has a camera which was surprising, but the resolution could be better. The screen can be a bit touchy, clicking on things that I was just trying to scroll past. A stylus would probably help with that. The speaker quality/ volume was lacking, and the battery runs down quickly. I've turned all notifications off and the battery already appears to be optimized for apps in the settings. You definitely have to turn it off between uses otherwise you'll have to be charging it all the time. Overall, I like it though. My family and I had just been saying how we wished we could watch our DVDs on our projector in the backyard, and now we can.

    I use this tablet for my Pinterest, Instagram and the Libby App from the library. It's perfect for using in my art studio and for listening to and reading library books. It is lightweight but has a good sized screen. I like that it has the DVD feature also.

    I'm not very tech savvy, but this was pretty easy to get started. It's actually a giant camera too. I needed a DVD player in my living room, only our bedroom has one and that was easy to get going too. The picture is very good for that. I'm still experimenting with different options on it and learning all the icons.

    This Proscan Elite 10.1" Quad Core Tablet/Portable DVD Combo, 2GB/32GB Storage, Android 11, PELTDV1029 is pretty cool. I never seen a tablet and dvd combo before. I recently went on a long flight over 2000 miles and unfortunately on board wifi was not working and I was thinking it would have been nice to bring a portable dvd set. So this being combined with a tablet is pretty cool. It seemed a little bulky holding it at first but overall it is pretty light weight. The tablet is simple to set up and log in with my google account. You don't have to use a google account but I like to so all my settings and such will be applied onto it. To use the dvd part you just push the top button in and it pops open then once the dvd is placed inside you close it and screen prompts you along the way to set up. It features a pop out stand on the back so you can prop the tablet up to watch a movie! It is very user friendly and up to date with current android systems. Overall this Proscan tablet is a great option!
